Watching Olympics I have realized one thing; maybe one day I can get into Hockey but rest of the sports are so boring to follow or watch regularly compared to cricket. If we start winning medals like China etc I will stop caring for most of these sports.

We are at #25 in Total medals. That's not bad as opposed to 0 medals from 1984 - 1996 , we scored 0 in 3 olympics. We are at alreast on the medals table since 1996

Yes in the Ger-Arg QF, they were mentioning how Peillat scored a hat trick against Germans in Rio to knock them out, and now he helped knock Arg out. 

 

He scored first PC for Germany against us, and was responsible for the penalty stroke as well. Made full use of Rohidas' absence.

Dutch win shootouts just like in men, double gold for them in hockey as many had predicted pre tournament.

The goal Dutch got to equalize, that wasn't PC. Gutted for the Chinese girls.

 

Dutch were the best team in the event, outplayed China in the final but their final victory feels unfair. 

 

This match reminded me of our women vs Aussies in Tokyo QF. But there we won.

If these gora umps can be so blatant in robbing the Chinese, we Indians have no chance in our lifetime. It will always be 11 vs 14 till the time this game exists and we play the whites.
