This thread is a pathetic attempt and downright laughable nonsense.

Threads like this bring down the IQ of the forum. Nothing more to say actually.

Somebody who struggled to make one test 100 for 4 years shouldn't be considered for anything inspite of his lunatic fanbase.

Somebody who never scored 500 runs in series nor reached 900 ratings is not even in picture of ATG players.

Kohli atleast had slump.

Playing 200 tests does not make Sachin as best batsman either.

Scoring 100 100s after playing nearly double the matches is not great achievement either despite his idiotic fanbase assertions.

India won one lousy test in 1990s away from India. Did they need Sachin to lose , they would lost without him too, what exactly did Sachin do there.

This notion India did fine without Kohli is idiotic. Kohli as for now is only behind Sachin and Sunny in tests even after his slump.

One single bumrah and Sachin would have had way more wins than anyone else in history. Don't compare team performances to individuals

More proof that Sachin fans are idiotic and do nothing else but try to make Sachin into some thing which he never was .

Kohli had way smaller peak than any great batsman in history.

Every single country greats,  ex players, commentators, wisden, all have our Sachin among the very very top and ahead of kohli in tests.

Must be all Sachin fans.

There is no question Peak Kohli is far better than Peak Sachin any day in all formats.

Odis Sachin is not even in same ball park as Kohli.

Tests Sachin is far better as he had better technique but he never had the determination to carry the team on his back.He was a steady eddy for a reason.

Kohli never had luxury of batting with lineups like Sachin  either.

My XI:

Sehwag

Jaiswal

Dravid

Tendulkar
Kohli

MSD+(c)

Jadeja
Ashwin

Kumble

Shami

Bumrah

3 spinners is too many even for home matches. One of Kumble or Ashwin should make for a batsman in India, and away matches should only have one spinner. Like the Jaiswal pick to partner with Sehwag.

How the hell did cooomaa sangalosserakara get that high of a rating. He never ever performed away from home in any match winning cause. Especially not aus or india. Guy is a fraud. Rest of the ratings looks good.

Ratings are crap. They don't weight home or away difference

this whole 3 spinner vs 1 spinner overseas is fine and dandy if you got pace bowlers like Australia or West Indies.

The basic rule of thumb is, you play your best players and then tinker with ' horses for the courses' methodology. For eg, if its a total green top wicket and my choice is between picking Muralitharan or Pandya, ofcourse i will pick Murali 10 times out of 10. As it stands, except for Kapil, Srinath, Shami and Bumrah, there isn't a pace bowler in India thats better than Kumble. So kumble gets in.
