If some reports are to be believed we received something like $140 million & chump change for the last WC held at home - this is less than half the matches, and a freakin CT not WC either :whack3:

There'll be lot of hidden clauses in there like Pak to play India in SL or Dubai :giggle:

So cost of hosting India in UAE is $35 million?

Neither has BCCI ever been equivalent of ICC nor have they focused on killing off Pak cricket. The only thing that matters to BCCI is money. That's about it.

If BCCI was the same as ICC it would've held WCT finals in India or at least one of them. And it would've ensure India somehow managed to win some of the ICC tourneys and we wouldn't have had to wait for a decade. The truth is BCCI doesn't have much of an influence other than the financial aspect of it. Hell, we couldn't even get that panauti of an umpire Kettleborough removed from our matches who was there for every ICC knockout defeat we suffered. Every ICC tourney has seen line decisions and umpire's call go against us. If we controlled ICC would that've happened?

Same with killing off Pak cricket. If India and BCCI really wanted to kill off Pak cricket, they would've done so already and made Pak pariah of world cricket. All India would've had to say was if any player plays in PSL they're ineligible to play in IPL. Or not toured the countries which tour Pak. There're so many ways India and BCCI could've hurt them. But BCCI really doesn't care. There's a huge difference between not caring, and actively destroying Pak cricket.

Bcci care only about money.

You mentioned hwy wtc finals weren't held in India or Asia?

Money

Money in Britain is pounds. Brings more to the coffers of bcci. Which they will use to distribute to the other beggars in. The world like ecb and ca.

A source close to the ICC said on Thursday that the ICC’s financial and commerce committee, which is headed by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah, has approved the budget that was jointly prepared and submitted by the PCB and ICC’s finance department.

So we have no say in ICC. Good to know. I think people should then stop chest thumping about BCCI's power and how now we have started getting firm on Pak and PCB.

If we have no power admit it instead of the constant useless chest thumping some people do.

Truth doesn't matter, the chest thumpers will keep thumping their chest on how now we are strict with PCB and are punishing them.

Meanwhile we are approving more money for them which will go into terrorist activities which will cost Indian lives. They are literally killing our soldiers in j&K and we are funding them generously.

Even Israel and Ukraine take better stands when attack against their countries happen. We are too weak to retaliate but now we are also approving millions for them as a reward for attacking our country.

I have never understood this statement, India vs Pak generate lot of revenue. I find it hard to believe Ind vs Eng doesn’t generate similar kind of revenue.

It's just a hoax created by ICC,

They usually increase the price tickets of India Pak games coz they know 100% of capable Pakistanis and majority of capable Indians will try their best to get the tickets.

In reality India vs Australia, India vs Eng & Ind vs NZ are much more competitive than this utopian rivalry. Pakistan promotes it obviously because they don't have anything else left in their country to keep them united.

But India has no business in promoting this fake rivalry.

So Jay Shah has no say in protesting that majority of BCCI's revenue shouldn't go to PCB ?

He can voice his opinion, right ? That pay whatever you want to PCB but it shouldn't contain a single penny from BCCI.

That's the budget of CT. That money isn't going to PCB. That money ICC will spend on organizing CT.

We aren't & haven't ever been tough on Pak since at least 1971 - all this BS about Pak army needing India as an enemy applies to Indian political parties as well, especially BJP. Kashmir & Pak issue could've been resolved way back if they actually want to, this goes for both sides of the border! Anyone deluded into thinking that BJP is "tougher" on Pak needs to get a pysch eval done asap :whack3:

Total 14 matches in CT, rotated in 2, max 3 venues, with some teams being stationed in one place for all group games. I just don't understand how this is half the budget of 2023 WC which had 50 games across 10 venues (and many warm ups as well).

PCB swindling ICC/BCCI here and has Jay Shah's stamp of approval. Bloody traitor.
