how is someone with 4 sena 100s, half baked? He has way more match winning innings after his debut than Pujara. Indian fans really are like goldfish

we already have rahul. We need a pujara. We wouldnt have won twice in Australia otherwise. Kl rahul has 2 match winning innings in lords and centurion. Rest all his centuries are in losing or drawn causes. Pujara has won india Adelaide and melbourne. Had significant role in drawing sydney and winning in brisbane.

it's not just SENA. As an example, in the last test he played ( Dec 2022 in Bangladesh), he had the largest score in the Indian team where he made 93. It was a match India barely managed to scrape out a win in. He has been one of the most consistent performers in the test team for a while now. His style is defiitely uncoventional and looks a bit crazy at times but cannot argue with his record of performances in tough conditions time after time.

nah.we are forced to play Axar because the rest suck against spin..KL also much better player of spin than Gill so i think they may play both Sarfaraz and Rahul.

Yeah, Umesh though was limited against pace bowlers, had more strokes vs spinners.

Akash looks decent vs pace as well.

 

This will be a test though, round the wicket by Saini on his body. No room to free his arms.

All the fast bowlers should learn how to bat a bit. That's where players like Akashdeep comes handy who are good bowlers and handy on the field and with the bat are worth gold.

Then there are joke bowlers like Avesh, Mukesh, Khaleel who are useless in field, can't bat and pretty one-dimensional with bowl. Our selectors like the latter category for some reason.
