Lurkerdom

zen

Recommended Posts

As someone entranced in a good life, I am beginning to lose interest in most topics. I have cut down on other social media already. And therefore, may turn into more or less a lurker on ICF soon (may post something once in a while).

I will make a few more posts on films and maybe a final thread on my top 10 films.

The count down to Lurkerdom begins! How many of you are in the same boat?

Not exactly in the same boat but developments on the personal and professional front means that I can't devote as much time as I want to, to forums (something I still enjoy)

I still enjoy watching cricket. I used to watch club football but gave up on it completely.

Congrats on finding the good life. Life is good on the whole in general. Its wonderful that you are cutting down on social media. Social media is a trash can. Its a place full of people's anxieties that come in various ugly flavors. I took a break from ICF for a while. Its totally refreshing. I wasn't even a lurker for the time that I was off ICF. I don't think we can totally quit ICF but taking time off or being a lurker certainly helps. Cheers. I will miss the times we used to pwn the sachinistas

In my good life, one thing that bothers me is mosquitos. I bought a tennis racquet style mosquito killer but most mosquitoes are so fast that by the time I pick it up, they vanish. And then I find itchy bite marks on my body.

I got a mosquito net too but found a mosquito working to get inside it like a Terminator! It was actually trying to expand the net to get in!

Nowhere am I safe. Even at the temples near my house, I see mosquitoes.

Dumb scientists have not invented anything effective to tackle these buggers. :hitler:

Odomos works for me. I finish a whole tube in a month in India. Also, it helps to wear full-arm shirts and track-pants. Shorts are mosquito magnets.

I'm Rafa when it comes to battling mosquitos with my bat.

They have genetically engineered mosquitos. These days the mosquitos don't care about getting swatted. They are here to drink your blood like CDP

I do wear shorts (mostly cargo shorts) and then basketball shorts inside the house. Anything else makes me feel hot.

I will take a look at Odomos.

Yeah, mosquitos show devil may care attitude.

I think they have got used to the mosquito repellant like Goodnight or something that are running in my home.

They have become quicker as well. Earlier I used to find mosquitos flying around lazily but the new batch has purpose. They are like some ninja or commando unit :fear1:

They used to drive away the mosquitos back then but today they are still needed. I didn't switch on the repellant one time by mistake. I quickly realized the mistake. There were more mosquitos that night. It never used to be like this even a decade ago

odomos may be fine for your trip. but for long term use as in staying in India, I don't think the checmical use is that good for the body
