Kerala scored 32 runs less in 125 overs at 2.73. Even 3 per over would have given them the lead. 

 

That was the difference. Too defensive, cowardly approach from set batsmen on a flat track. By the time lower order tried to hit, ball started turning.

it was the set batsmen Sachin baby who actually might have cost them the cup,had he not played a rash shot just before his 100 they wouldn't have be bundled out with a first inning deficit.

He had to play a rash shot because that's what happens when you get into a shell and don't play shots before and when you reach near target or milestone you do something weird. 

 

How many times have we seen batsmen doing tuk tuk for long and then throwing it just before the target? It's happened a million times in tests and domestic. Once you go all defensive this always happens.

Ashwin has talked about Danish Malewar on his yt channel. He is only 21.  Gorgeous shots. Except the Kela celebration everything is good. Superb timing.  Easy on the eye.

Vidharbha deserved winners,the most with most wins but Mumbai had too many injuries the whole season and couldnt mount the defense of their title.
