A young upcoming all-round prodigy from Mumbai’s cricketing circles, Suryansh has made the heads turn with his rise as an all-rounder in a short span of time.

He first burst onto the scene in 2016, scoring 326* off 137 balls to record the then-fastest triple century in the history of Giles Shield.

A right-arm batter who bowls medium pace, Suryansh continued his meteoric rise as a cricketer, continuing to impress with his fine talent. Playing for BCCI Men’s Under-25 State A Trophy in 2022, the right-hander scored 184 runs in eight matches and picked up 12 wickets with the ball.

Suryansh Shedge missed a well-deserved hundred, scoring 99 runs as Mumbai reached 248 for six in their first innings against Tripura

Shedge, 21, hit 10 fours and four sixes in his 93-ball innings, emerging as the top scorer for Mumbai.

Anyone seen him on TV? He performed well in KO in SMAT with both bat and ball.

saw in smat. Medium pacer and a big hitter

I hope there is something to build upon. Even if he gets to Dube level, he would add some competition at domestic level for pace allrounders.

I am slightly underhopeful.

Given the circumstances our team is in, we need a bowling allrounder first rather a batting one.

If Suryansh's stronger skill is his batting, then he is already in line with likes of Dube, V Iyer, Nitish, Arshin etc..while in reality we need someone like Hardik, who can bowl well. Bawa is another better bowler in comparison, albeit at inferior returns with bat.

Problem with allrounder is , we dont appreciate their batting alone. He should just quit his bowling and concentrate on batting alone , this way he has a better chance of making it without being judged on his less performing skill

He is decent but I will prefer if he can bowl 135k+..we already have NKR who bowls less than 135ks..and batting well..

I am looking for someone who can bowl like the pace of Pandya atleast and hits the deck..

I will be more inclined towards Raj Bawa who hit sthe deck..if he can improve further..

If Shedge can improve too..its great as well..its good to have the competition and may the better one prevails..

his hitting range n arc is next level. A good IPL season and he will debut against tier 2 teams like WI SL right away

I am all for competition and inspiration to the younger kids.  Kapil inspired a generation. Irfan and Hardik served as inspiration. Every role model helps.

Per the Smat speedometer he is sun 135 kmph bowler, can bat .

RamaKrishna Ghosh is similar but better bowler can hit the ball.

SA in 90s were blessed. One of their teams had Kallis, Kluesner, McMillan and Pollock all together. And Cronje.

In 90s every1 was able to roll their arms for few over, but today the problem is such bowler can go for 20 runs in an over and can change the game from there.

Asking for 2 over from parttime bowler can be game changing event.

It will still work if we any team has 2/3 high quality bowlers. They will invariably pick wickets giving scope for squeezing overs from part timers.
