From what I hear 2004-13 Sheila Dixit rule was a lot better for infrastructure, cleanliness etc. in contrast that rule of AAP is a nation’s curse. China is nearing 20 trillion dollar economy mark. Konsa comparison kar rahe janab. Even Sri Lanka is lot cleaner than India. There is no permanent solution for dehat culture. We blame Punjab but in reality, All the air pollution starts coming from Pakistani side of Punjab which is bigger and more polluter. I hope, Someone from India raises this with Pakistan. People looking at China’s progress and doing RR should know all these systems China has. They got some permit system In Xinjiang yes but I think they are free to move in mainland China unless there is some epidemic or emergency protocol. They do have strict health codes I heard which vary from province. One must always update those. Travel to HK Macau requires permit like Xinjiang. Before 2008 Olympics the CCP had forcefully organised 'classes' for the people of Beijing to teach them "how to behave with foreign visitors". That's just one example. No Indian govt can take such drastic hard measures. Any Indian politian's first and foremost priority is to win elections.
