What makes you think they'll make a difference now when they haven't done so their entire career? Can you remind me when either Rohit or Kohli won a Test with their batting away from home?

Kohli has been a tailender for more than 5 years now. And Rohit can't even bat for a session, forget playing a match-winning innings.

Those days are long gone. It's 4 years ago - almost a lifetime in sporting world. The Rohit post WT20 is a "zero phucks to give" Rohit. You can't roll back time and get a version of a player from 4 years ago. If that was possible we'll come up against a prime Steve Smith as well, and there's more chance of that happening than either Kohli or Rohit scoring meaningful runs.

Rohit played impact full knocks in both WC and WT20 where he was the X factor.

As a hardcore fan I am also saying he is done due to his clear fitness issues. That is not international standard.

also your prime Steve smith has been a flop these days and in white ball the less said the better.

I think the extra hissy fit comes for players we don’t like usually. I can understand I guess.

On topic Ravindra Jadeja, Travis Head and to some smaller extent Rizwan, Bavuma: their success is an anomaly for what I personally consider my world class cricket acumen. Atleast Bavuma and Jadeja (Dhoni quota) were reservation picks but Travis Head-don’t get it

At the T20 WC, Rohit thrashed the Aussie bowlers like they stole his dinner plate! His batting that day was a treat to every Indian cricket fan. Now age has caught up with him now as it does with the best of sportsmen.

Head is in the Indian bowlers' heads after that WTC final blitzkrieg. When fear takes over, logic goes out of the window and our bowlers keep on serving buffet balls to him.

Seems like he gets out LBW and bowled most of the times. Indian bowlers need to bowl the stump to stump line and not give him any room. Something other bowlers apart from bumrah needs to do. Rana was bowling short stuff and getting hit all over.

Travis Head loves width. Keep it straight on good length and strangle him. But we don't have bowlers with control. That's why want Akash Deep to be there. He can keep it tight on or around off on a good length.
