SandeepMotta Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 It feels like 90s all over again, with only one player giving it his all while the est are just useless and can be interchanged with anyone, only difference is it was Sachin the batsman then and now it's Bumrah the bowler. express bowling, bowl_out, Ultimate_Game and 5 others 1 3 4
Popular Post Lord Posted December 15, 2024 Popular Post Posted December 15, 2024 difference is Sachin was treated like God, while Bumrah is hyped way lesser than even Nofit. express bowling, Number, singhvivek141 and 8 others 2 2 7

Unfortunately we hype even mediocre batting talent. Bumrah needs PR like Kohli. His fabs are now celebrating him congratulating other teams batsmen. Lord, wanted_desi and raki05 3

Rohit and other batters should be given scrap food which Bumrah leaves behind. Even their pay should be 10% of Bumrah's pay... Lord, raki05, express bowling and 1 other 3 1

The IND team's also a lot better today & we're not facing the likes of McWarne, the two WW's from Pak or WI< SA is bearly above minnow level although they've done better in tests recently & apart from NZ & arguably Eng nearly all teams have gone down at least slightly since then.
deepdynamo Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 (edited) Its Bumrah or bust!! Our fast bowling stock is at all time low despite having Bumrah ATG. Previously, we have a solid attack of Bumrah, Ishant and Shami with decent backup in Umesh and Bhuvi. Now its only Bumrah, aging Shami ( on last legs) and Siraj is only a hit or miss support bowler at best. Harshit and Akashdeep have yet to fire and less said about Mukesh & Prasidh, the better. Adamant Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 Lol, lets not compare one of the greatest Indian match winner to a consistent accumulator. Bumrah is an out and out matchwinner, Sachin was nowhere near even at his prime. Laaloo and SandeepMotta 2
Sandz Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 Now let’s take our mind to 2028 when Bumrah will be retired from Test Cricket and try to imagine what the opposition scores will look like.

wanted_desi Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 During in 90s, atleast there weren't some bowlers given limitless chances those were averaging 50 with ball.
Vijy Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Or like Kapil in the 70s and 80s, doing his best with the ball and bat
