How selfish is Kohli to chase balls that far away instead of leaving them?

Just watching his mode of dismissals makes my blood boil. This moron keeps getting out to the same ball that he could easily leave alone over and over again. This is why he can never be as good as Tendulkar or Smith. This show pony doesn't want to grind out 100s or scores for his team. Such a shameless loser. Team is looking to save the match, have lost 2 wickets early and left arm over the wicket from Starc and this guy goes for a drive from 5th stump. If Gambhir doesn't kick him and Rohit out, they should all be kicked out. Ashwin would have genuinely been a better batting option than Rohit or Kohli on this tour.

At this point you can pick a random galli-mohalla player can't do any worse than Kohli and any of the other batters in the squad - Sarfaraz, Jurel, Paddikal - would be a huge upgrade over this manhoos.

he needed to reinvent himself like tendulkar did, but hasn't. he's clearly a gun when the balls goes soft as shown at perth. bat him at 5 or 6 in sydney

he's no gun at anything. he will still get out flashing at balls outside off. plenty of times in last 4-5 years when he walked out against soft ball/pitch and got out in the same way.

Kohli is consistently late while driving the ball, I am not an expert but I belive this is due to slowing reflexes as he is consistently late in transferring the weight to front foot while committing.

This won't be much of an issue if the ball isnt moving, but if there is even a bit of movement ball will miss the middle of the bat.

yeah, it's slowed down reflexes, but also manifested as sluggish footwork. he used to get closer to pitch of ball before

At this point, I'll be happy with him if he gets out some other way lol

I was thinking he might over compensate and start leaving balls outside off-stump, and get bowled leaving an incoming ball.

Maybe it hasn't gotten to that stage yet.. Expect it to happen at SCG
