Stumbled onto a reel from a PSL game. The Karachi stadium was almost empty.

There were maybe 1.5k occupants in what seemed like a small run down a 25k seats stadium.

 

On the other hand, most IPL stadiums have been packed houses.

Is this IPL - indian Premier league which is supposed to have similiar rules as an INTERNATIONAL T20 Match???

 once our corp team was invited ( played and paid fess to join) into a tournament which was near MILIND SUBWAY into a cricket pitch which was around with a 67 to 70 metres straight boundary and around 62 meteres square boundaries. 

we realized that MIS HITS were going for 4"s and 6's. we were scolding the fielders as they were missing the ball and it was like a MESS.  it became a high scoring tournament , people enjoyed but the bowlers were crucified. even batsmen knew that he has hit a bad shot and still got a 4.

 

Exactly Same is happening in IPL.  Bhai log ..yeh indian premier league hai koi Chotta corporate/club level ka tournament nahi hai.

 

- why do you need to reduce the Boundary line ???? you want people to Appreciate and be happy. why are you taking a decision that allows BATSMAN to mis hit and still get a four or a 6, same shot in an international match, batsman may get OUT. 

- saliva rule- if it is not a valid rule in an international T20 Match, why are you applying it? 

- what is this 12th Player subscription rule? it completely changes the logic of selection? a Perfect hard-core bowler can replace a perfect BATSMEN. it means teams do not need an all-rounder in the team now.

- now performance in this tournament can make indian player play a T20 Match for India.

-fast bowler pe snick lagega fir small boundary to clear karega hi , fielder ke pass chance he nahi hai, badi boundary mein third man ka fielder ho sakta hai 1 run hi dilwae.

- @BCCI BHAI Log aap international rules wala proper match kyon nahi organise karvate.

IPL is perfect for our troll times. By virtue of its formats it gives random hard to predict results. This gives opportunity to every segment of population to troll each other. You can troll goenka and pant and then move to troll SRH and Kavya and move to RCB. There will be some standout poor and good teams in some years like CSK this time but even they will spring a surprise and spoil someone else’s party. Broadly teams are more comparable as the league grows. IT also depends on player form. Mitchell marsh being so much better than someone like Stoinis or MAxwell is a matter of form. Analyst can also make whatever theories they want and it will work in limited manner by chance sometimes. Perennial troll army or kohli/rohit/etc etc, will always find some masala or will pick up random matches from past which no one remembers to make their stupid points.
