Nothing sinister or unexpected about this.

If we want to feel proud and brag about how India is 'her own pole' in a multi-polar world, and not sign up with alliances, then that's how it will be.

Yes, Indian air defense has been spectacularly stellar and exceeded expectations. Its a tremendous achievement and one that folks are still not really understanding.

Pakistani propaganda and infowar will always find traction internally - no point trying to 'convince' them. No need to.  We owned their ass, and I don't think infowar etc can hide this fact.

It is not internal traction. It is about foreign media.

Every "neutral" foreign media has just 2 questions - 1) how many jets did India lose ? 5 or 6 ?   2) How many Rafales were lost ?

Is this how outcomes of conflicts are measured ?

The question is never asked as to how many airforce assets PAF lost when 11/12 of their airbases / hangars were flattened by precision strikes.  The question is never asked as to how India managed to penetrate the length and breath of Pak at will, EVERY major city,  flatten structures, while Pak was not able to get past bordering states of Punjab and Jammu.

This "perception management " and information war is the work of several international actors in my opinion.

It discredits India and its forces and is meant to demoralize the country. The only answer to this is to make massive territorial ingresses and push the LOC westward - so that there is no escape from humiliation and the price for doing incidents in India is unbearable. It will come at a price, because conflicts are unpredictable- but the price is worth it in the long run in my opinion.

Criticism is valid...security lapse to have no security cover for tourists

.unable to catch the terrorists and then accepting ceasefire when India forces were in ascendancy are valid discussion points...wording of surrender is the stupid part....if the roles were reversed and pappu Gandhi accepted a ceasfire with winning position ..do you think BJP is gonna keep quiet....always country before religion and before party......criticizing wrong decisions and asking for accountability is necessary..that's the job of opposition..since our GODI media is not doing their job

Yes, after 26/11, we did send dossiers and gave up. What happened before the pause (there is no surrender, that is Pakistan speak) was India attacked Pak deep in their territory? That is being ignored, as if it was a norm that India attaacked Pak. Only 3 times in the last 25 years, has India taken suo moto action on Pak. Mind it.

Did Modi criticize UPS govt after 26/11 and castigated it for listening to external powers .then why shouldn't he face the same criticism. It does not take anything away from all the right things that were done in op Sindoor. Op job is to hold the govt accountable...asking why India agree to a ceasefire is a very valid question as the armed forces were in ascendancy. It could very well be a simple answer..we achieved our objectives and end of story ..but as Indian nationals we expect the govt to be accountable ...

Indeed, but these pointers should be raised in a parliament debate and not in front of the press, when the whole world was watching the narrative war.
Had RaGa mentioned something like "we give full support to current BJP govt, let them teach pakistan a lesson which they'll remember for decades", it would have shown India as united.
Instead he kept on asking "how many Rafale's were down" and then gave immature comments like "narender, surrender". I'm sure even the seasoned politicians of Congress might have felt immature about the same.

BJP when in opposition attacked pakistan, when they insulted PM Manmohan Singh. BJP even told that whatever disagreements we have internally, Pakistan has no right to insult our PM. Contrary to that RaGa is acting as if he wants Modi and India to fail.

I absolutely agree with what you wrote..I'm not defending his choice of words or how he addressed it...I'm saying it is not wrong to ask hard questions as that makes us different from Pakistan...hard questions force us to improve

Yeah, I'm all for constructive criticism.
That's why I feel BJP is lacking a strong opposition, which is nationalistic and also keeps them on their toes to improve.
Likes of Shashi Tharoor crossed all the politicial boundaries to push India's narrative, someone like him in opposition will keep BJP not to get casual.

Listen to the CDS , IAF Chief, DGMO, they all gave PCs and official statements, that Pak DGMO called and asked to cease the operations on May10. If you run a camoaign of India surrender, you are undermining the official stance of Indian armed forces. That is a big no-no in politics. BJP did criticize UPA , for non-action afainst Pak. But, they have never supported a Pakistan narrative in politics. They had opposed the nuclear deal with US, and that was wrong.

It looks like Congress is run by vested interests that don't have India's best interests. The likes of Supriya Shrinate and Pawan Kher come to TV and froth , shows they are getting lost in which battles to pick and fight against NDA.

India public should trust the armed forces and country first . Armed forces chief said that they took a rational decision  as they had achieved their objectives of hitting terror camps and also defend against any attack from Pak. and stopped the operations, there was no message from US to stop. The surrender campaign hurts Congress more than any body else.

Pappu is a fascinating personality who makes me happy and sad, both at the same time. No other politician made me feel that way.

Happy coz his stupidity will ensure that lefties/Islamists stay out of power for a while. Sad coz an anti-national, anti-Hindu idiot like him is at top of the line from the opposition to potentially become our future PM. :fear1:

The entire family should just F off on exile from India. So that we finally have opposition of caliber in India - and there are plenty of smart folks in Congress.
