Aussies always do well in RSA, 2018 was an exception. Similar conditions too.

 

BGT 2027 will be a close call, we will win but most games will be tightly contested.

Australia traditionally had better batsmen than South Africa over the years until Amla Smith Kallis ABD came along and even they couldn't topple Aussie batting engine consistently over the years.  

 

This time around the Australian batting is weakest it has probably been in decades.

I expect SA to pull over Australia 2-1 at home.  The WTC win at Lords which is hardest ground in England to beat Australia wasn't a one off for sure.

Same with SA they host Eng and Aus for three tests each but only 2 tests for rest of the teams.

Think it's BCCI doing. They don't see much money in it. Those boards would want to host us as much as possible

Bcci doesn't get any money for touring a country. SA plays less tests so that they can play more LOIs which are more profitable. A single t20 for them is more profitable than test. They lose money by playing tests.

Yes but BCCI still doesn't want long tours for NZ and SA. This is where they compromise on the cricket schedules.

I am all for reducing BGT, ATT to 4 test affairs. And promoting series against RSA, NZ to 3 test series.....disgrace that we will play the reigning world champions in just a 2 test series this December. Also can't dismiss NZ as a cricket nation, got whitewashed by them at home, have won exactly 1 test in NZ in last 50 years, they own our asses.....deserves to be at least a 3 test series.

SA board doesn't want to play more than two tests.
