fineleg Posted July 27 Posted July 27 (edited) There is that "slight temptation" of draw possible? (similar when Jaddu batted in Test3). Can one do a Ashwin-Vihari Sydney types draw? But heartbreak waiting to happen? Edited July 27 by fineleg Lord 1
jf1gp_1 Posted July 27 Posted July 27 This series we either lost at the start or end of session. All boils down to first session which also includes a new ball.
tweaker Posted July 27 Posted July 27 The problem is Pant may not bat and the three allrounders to follow Jadeja,Sundar,Shardul
jf1gp_1 Posted July 27 Posted July 27 For Pant to come out we cant be more than 5 down and into 3rd session.

fineleg Posted July 27 Author Posted July 27 (edited) Wonderful job by Jaddu and Washy. Needed same grit as shown by Ashwin Vihari, and they did that. Very rare to see such amazingly fought Draws by Team India and fortunate to see that at Sydney and Manchester. Icing on the cake to be able to fight out a draw even when main batsman Pant was injured. Edited July 27 by fineleg
