Delhi Premier League(2025) Season 2 started.

 

2 new teams this time..some observations and notable performances so far

 

-Yash Dhull in blistering form..century and fifty not outs so far

-Anuj Rawat batting well too

-Money Greywal looks good this time..economical as well

-may be speed gun is showing bit slower as Simarjeet and Money Grewal looked sharp but speed was only in 130s..

-Suyash Sharma amongst the wickets

-U19 bowler who is also Australia bound..Udhave Mohan picked 5fer in debut..looked like a smart bowler

-Priyansh Arya..not amongst big runs yet

-Digvesh Rathi and Prince Yadav are taking some beating

rarely a rookie from these tournaments upgrade themselves to bowl longer spells

Fast Bowling is far tougher job,they won't do the hard yards and managing them is equally tough

So far Rathi and Arya are clearly international level from this league & knocking on India doors. We will get others too, Delhi cricket is among the best run admins in the country.

That head band guy is Anirudh Chaudhary but he was clicking around 135. Simarjeet I saw hitting 140 plus.

Siddarth Joon is good. He opens with Dhull he also seems to have worked on his power game.

Uddhav Mohan U19 bowler continues to bowl well..I saw him hitting 136k in highlights...Hopefully he goes beyond 140k in coming years..as he looks a smart bowler to me..

Left armer 18 years old kishan Singh picked for u19 in Australia is the one who bowls 140. Pranav Raghavendra is probably injured.

Why are the likes of Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi not here ? It's so disappointing to lose these talents.

Both don't play for Delhi in Ranji that's why.

Great..he is from Bihar..moved to UP..was trying to find his pace.. good to know he could bowl 140ks..

Uddhav Mohan I mentioned as he looked smart bowler..do you think U19 bowler with 135k can reach 140s with some work..provided no major injuries

Pranav definitely seems to be injured.. as he didnt play any match in Englad tour..

sad to see him getting injured and missing Eng and Aus tours..

Rohit Yadav is another bowler who clocks 140-142 in DPL.
