There  is absolutely no excuse for losing the first test despite Gill's absence. Couldn't chase 124 runs. Pitiful. Even a Ranji trophy team would have chased.

Do people care about the test mace? Chokers SA had plenty of those under smith.

 

Bottled it badly vz Nz in the wtc final in a game that should have been drawn given weather disruptions. India should have shared the title v nz.

 

Gg probably is not cut out for test cricket. But he did strike in the champions trophy with a great team. I will take Gg anyday over king manhoos.

 

I would advise different coaches for different formats is way forward.

 

 

Coming back to topic. England were always a so so team. Lets see how "Ronnie" tackles the transition. Australia are one failed series away from a crisis.

So called best bowler in world cannot take a single wicket in most bowler friendly conditions and it is the captain who bottled the match.

If its the world test final vs nz.

 

Selecting ashwin over another seamer a d failing with the bat comes to mind.

No it was Ashwin who had to take first wicket even in first innings.4th seamer would not have done much better than Ashwin in that match.

 

Kohli scored 44 and highest first innings score from both sides was 54. His score was good enough if his best bowler showed up in the match.


It is inability of best fast bowler to even get one  wicket that was the problem.

Rubbish batting by India in the 2nd innings. If only INdia had battted 7 or 8 more extra overs match was going to be a draw. Everyone knew about this. But they just collapsed like dumbos like they have been doing fo ra while in second innings.

David lloyd - It's a wonderful life

 

Listen to the "biggest robbery" part lol Hilarious    Healy lost his watch and ring on a train in Pakistan.  SOmebody stole. So in order to catch him he placed a spare ring and watch.  That was also gone :phehe:

I agree. Was in southampton where i used to live. What a choke job.

 

Kohli and trophies never mixed. Be it india or icc. Indian cricket was stronger the day he stepped down as captain. Cursed loser.

The manhoos nature of kohli would make even make the likes of Hadlee into Dinda. 

 

Rahane was 10 times ths test captain (not player) kohli ever was.

Its going to take some time to dismantle the bazball regime. Players like dukett crawley pope will need to be replaced. Brook needs to change approach.

 

Next coach needs to bring in the new trott. A grinder.

India has to fix their second innings issues. That is still continuing.
