The silence from Bollywood ecosystem is deafening. Are they jealous, upset, or being careful to not upset their Pak handlers? Khans, Kapoors, Alia, Karan Johar, all so silent. Btw Ranveer is UAE tourism ambassador, he and his wife (in hijab) were promoting their mosque. Yet, his movie has been banned from that country, never mind terror financing countries like Saudi, Qatar, Kuwait. This movie has not touched those countries, yet they won't release a movie where Pak are villains. Tells you all you need to know about what they think of Pak terror factory. These Gulf Arab countries routinely call out Pak based Terrorism against India. Their policy on movies is to not release anything that causes civil unrest in their nation. Having a sizeable Pakistani population they don’t want post movie fights etc.

That released in Gulf Arab states, including UAE. They even had a red carpet event for that film in Dubai. Mariyam 1
Gollum Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 Movies like Pathaan, Main Hoon Na, Tiger either had Indian villains or some good people in ISI/Pak who teamed up with our agents and defeated the common enemy. No problem for libbus. But the minute we have a realistic portrayal of ISI, so many people lose their minds. Laaloo and diga 2

God bless Tukaram Omble without which 26/11 would have been a RSS sponsored attack with no live evidence to disprove that initially Buddy, as brave and honourable as Tukaram Omble was, there was ample ‘live’ proof that the attack was orchestrated by Pakistanis. 1) Their communications were intercepted and in a matter of hours Indian agencies were listening in on which people from which region of Pak were handling the terrorists. 2) Some of the satellite phones were registered with Pak army. 3) The ammunition had Pak ordinance factory markings. 4) The stuff they left behind on the dinghy , toothpastes, tooth brushes, combs etc were all local Pak brands which aren’t sold in India. 5) Some of the terrorists made goodbye calls to their parents/relatives Pak landline numbers from cell phones of the people they killed. Most calls didn’t get through, some did. diga and MechEng 2
Gollum Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 No cringe scene like this one. RAW, ISI teaming up to save bechara Indians, only happens in YRF universe.

The former is a massy feel good movie riding only on superstar value. The latter is more real and script driven cinema. Its like saying Josh /Once upon a time in Mumbai are bad gang war movies but Satya/Company are so realistic etc etc. Some cinema is meant to be unrealistic and escapist. You go for the superstar.

One can make massy movies without keeping sympathetic main characters from Pak in them. I get it for a movie like Bajrangi Bhaijaan. But in spyverse movies, no way, makes a mockery of our intelligence agencies. And why do they need to pander to Pakistanis, not like their movies will ever release in Pak, and Bollywood loving Pak diaspora in UAE, USA, UK etc. won't be anywhere close in numbers to the Indian audience. All the reason why Saudi and other ME nations constantly bend over to Pakistan. Indians dont do that, they're civil, and that goes against them.

Farm for negative views and build your audience. To some extent, yes, but its not sustainable. No one cares about Dhruv Tatti and Rabies Kumar anymore...only their "fans" watch. Likes of Anupama Chopra, theyve substantial fan base and alleged funding from companies run by shell companies of Pook military. Same goes for many other "superstars".
EnterTheVoid Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 High time Bollywood made movies to show Pakistan the enemy that they are.

ravishingravi Posted December 10, 2025 Author Posted December 10, 2025 Other great thing about the movie. And this is really great thing. Movie is pretty tense. Without spoilers, there are sequences where you have no idea where it's heading. The outcome of those fights and conflicts are uncertain. And I think that was brilliant choice because as audience I am wondering what can happen if X comes in top or Y comes on top. I am glad I didn't know much about the film. Social Media and internet ruins the experience.
Gollum Posted December 10, 2025 Posted December 10, 2025 Hoping to hear verdicts/reviews of more ICFers before we reveal spoilers and discuss in more detail.
