It reminded me of the onslaught of Ponting. When the first innings finished, everyone knew who was lifting the WC

That was such a depressing finals.

Kumble not playing, always pick extra bowler on batting wicket.

That is why I dont rate Fab four they were as phattu as they come.

Mahatre technique is still not that promising, kundu is good but his frame is not that big.

Don't know but I rate this guy very high,

Highly skilled and careless at  the same time like young Rohit

Suryavanshi with discipline(if) can reach heights he wants to

He has technical issues with that stance. More in control against pull.

Ambrish, Kanishk and Sooryavanshi are one for the future.

Mhatre if he improves but India has a glut of batsmen.

Mhatre bowls..that is the only plus. He turns square at times

He strong base helps in hitting sixes but has a weak offside game. He needs to improve on that.

That's not abnormal for his age, everyone has issues ,point is he will have to work on it and has age on his side to do it,just 17

He is an alrounder

nah, his bowling is too weak.Mhatre has better chance of being allrounder in whiteball cricket.

eng was overall a v.good side, couple of v.good batters, fast bowling also looked good.

ind batting overall is v.good, only ppl who do not have power game are vaidant and vihaan but they are good at what the are in the side for to keep rotating strike in middle overs. bowling is just poor.

Yes. Ponting was 50 off 74 at one stage. Smacked 90 off 47 after that. Such demolition was unheard of in 2003.

Mahatre's technique will improve but he has not cracked Odis yet, he has good record in Y-tests and t20 (Smat and IPL).

Think he tries to emulate vaibhav , which is not possible. At U-19 level viabhav can mishit for 6s.

Mahatre plays too much in the air but lacks the power game to clear boundary every time.

One remarkable change that is happening in recent times they look for multi disciplined players. Bowlers who can bat batsmen who can bowl. Depth. It makes you better tournament team.

Yes thats the only time can see they have any/some plan. In previous years they would pick some1 like rahul chahar/bishnoi who are good for t20 level but never improves or get to top pick at intnl level.

Ambrish looks good can bowl seam and bat LH, Mhatre looks better bowler than kanishk, Vaibhav bowls useful LA orthodox.
