Yet they play much better cricket than Ireland, whose GDP per capita is 100 times higher. Cricket is top or top two sports in Nepal and Afghanistan. It doesn't cut top 3 in EU countries in question. It matters a lot where the top athletic talent and exposure is for a country.

That doesn't stop NZ and Eng from playing good cricket. As far as this Irish team is concerned, there are no excuses. This irish playing11 has been playing county cricket (in UK) for almost a decade. They hv much more exposure & hv much better infrastructure at their disposal, as compared to Nepali & Afghan players. ASHISH.K and Manucrick 1 1

The immediate success you see in manufacturing-heavy small nations often comes with a ceiling of external dependency. Vietnam’s export-to-GDP ratio of nearly 90% makes it a hostage to global trade whims. India, with its massive internal market and 17% contribution to global growth in 2026, is building a manufacturing engine that doesn't just serve the West, but fuels itself. If you’re betting on the state that’s close to beginning, look at us who have just turned into the world's second-largest mobile manufacturer and is now moving into the main thing, silicon Electronics has already leapfrogged to become India’s second-largest export category, hitting over $22 billion this fiscal year alone. While Vietnam has been the go-to for low-value assembly, India’s PLI schemes and the Semiconductor Mission 2.0 have forced a shift into high-value components and chip design. Just because we have big service industry doesn't mean we are lagging behind in manufacturing. Let it go. Indian services industry is basically labor arbitrage. Sell the very poor people's labor, be it construction in the Gulf or IT elsewhere at very cheap prices and still make a profit. Indian manufacturing is basically again cheap items which are produced with even cheaper labor. Then there are items geared to the local market like textiles, utensils, footwear etc for people who are a large percent of world population. There are a few gems of companies like Bharat Forge which dominates world forging but they are very few and hardly anybody knows about them. Lone Wolf 1

Gollum Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Hate these kind of pitches for T20s, limit free flowing batting. Boring 150-160 decks. Pace-off/cutters in middle of pitch and what can batters do? Won't be surprised if Dube outbowls Bumrah here. From Pooks, Faheem Ashraf will be tougher than Shaheen.
