They have all the time in the world to debate Mamata's choice of words, but their party's action which is detrimental to the nation should never be questioned. Well they are already trying to spin it but backlash at least has been everywhere. IT cell cannot defend everything Edited March 11 by Lone Wolf

G_B_ Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Lets do the basic math here once again India cosumes close to 9 million metric tonnes of diesel per year. This deal struck in jan 2026 says 180,000 metric tonnes will be given to bd from an assam based refiner. This is 2% of indias annual consumption. Bd consumes around 2 million metric tonnes of diesel. This is less than 10% of their annual consumption. As the refiner is based in assam, it has geographic constraints in whom it can supply. This remains a very small (but profitable) trasaction for india.

Its not about nominal price of diesel anymore. You can extract lot more. I am sure GoI will be doing that. However, as i said, I dont want anything from Kanglus. Edited March 11 by mishra

Agreed but this is just glazing Kanglus for the sake of it, just to keep them in our sphere more like a geopolitical Jaziya which we are so accustomed to atm
