tapandrun Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Opening batting and Powerplay tactics have seen a fundamental change in philosophy. Team as now scoring 80-100 runs in the pp itself. And once a team has such pp score they just need to keep up the tempo 220 is easily achievable. Fail in the Powerplay, fail the match. Boring batting kills the game. Teams not having their own version of Abhishek are going nowhere and look like not belonging in the same league. Not sure who the opp was but Dc game chasing 200+, they had given-up on chasing frm the v.starting of the game.

Vk1 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Marsh, Markram and Pooran trio were never gonna work. Markram in particular is scrap. I can't imagine him doing well in PSL or srilankan leagues forget IPL.
