Peake - Aus U-19, good pick LH batter who wk , so 3 wk in the squad.

Merredith and Stanlake coming back in the side after a long time, what happened to Beardman and Lance Morris ???

No rizwan in Pak Odi side ?? No Ali Raza as well he was bowling 145+ kmph in PSL and touched 150 kmph

Rizwan will one day head LeT. He will be on most wanted list.

I thought Henry Thornton would also be picked.  He has good pace and was pretty good for Australia A when they were over here

Solid BBL season.  Beardman too should have been there and Spencer Johnson is fit and ready to go as well.

Aussie selectors seem way too conservative especially Bailey.

Meredith and Stanlake were playing PSL and probably had no issue touring Pak is the one reason perhaps.

Sangha strikes Farhan goes...

Anyways what do Pooks gain by creating these third class spinning tracks like Mirpur and winning against C teams while the World Cup is in South Africa... And then their imaginary cope is Systummm or bohaahah.

Lack of talent is primary concern @badmash

How are Rauf and Shaheen having such great strike rates. Are they feasting on tailenders and taking easy wickets when batsmen are going for runs?

Shaheen was a pretty good ODI bowler when he burst on to the scene.  Genuine wicket taker.

Loss of pace post 2022, has led to his decline.  He is entering Boobie territory now.

Rauf a run machine on most days but picks up wickets.  Had good series in SA and Australia.  Struggles in subcontinent with his poor economy.

Both were v.good for 2-3 yrs, which also coinicded with Pak playing b/c level side. But they were good white-ball bowlers for that period of time.

Shaheen was 140-150 kmph bowler, who would take a wkt atleast in his 1st/2nd over, he was 1 trick pony but that was a v.v.good and repeatable trick.

So wkt up front opp. was under-pressure , rauf used to be proper 145+ kmph and was reaching up to early 150 kmph. He would apply the choke and use his slower ones and yorkers to good effects.

Injury to shaheen took the wheels off the pak bowling, rauf lost the pace and they started facing A sides in ICC events and teams would prepare and they do not have much to offer and go for runs.

Rauf gets wkts on Aus tours and they still play alot of b/c level sides so take wkts and sometime lot of garbage wkts too.

So when Pak white-ball (t20i) side was doing well, it was not riwan+babar it was always rauf+shaheen as soon as shaheen lost pace due to injury both rizwana and babar were req to play at higher rates which they were unable to do and pak didnt have the high performing bowling line-up of past.

Australia is  definitely one of the worst team against turning ball.

This is akhada pitch. Not suitable for ODI cricket but Pakistani needed a series win after humiliation against Bangladesh .

Coach, captain ko bhi apni job save karni hai win karke series.

Ya.. they sucked in T20 as well here. THey bat like novices.  India was hoping for that in 2023 final. It backfired
