And when captain Gill phucked off with his neck injury in the first innings and we had to play the whole Test with one less batter. That was why we lost the Test and series. The guy is injury prone with neck and back issues and shouldn't be the captain.

Plus lack of commitment on the part of Gill. He walks in, hits a 4 and walks off with neck spasm. I mean if he was already injured before the match, why play it?? We lost by some 20 odd runs I think and another batsman in his place could have easily made those 20 runs.

Bhuvi never got the backing of batters which our bowlers did in 2023 coz Bumrah was there in 2019, 21 and other tourneys too and he also couldn't do much coz our batters consistently put up below par totals. not true. in 2023 bowlers defended a low score v Eng too. 2024 final was not a big score too but Bumrah alongwith Arshdeep and Hardik won it for us. 

 

in 2019 semi, Bumrah got Guptill early whereas Bhuvi focussed on economy on a perfect swinging pitch. He spent the whole WC without taking early wickets. All his wickets were in death overs. Even Vijay Shankar got one,

Rajat Patidar has used Venky carefully to give him a longer rope with RCB. I think they are best buddies too

That's how you bat or chase in big matches. He dis the same in his last final when KKR won. He killed off the match with his hitting and is doing the same today. Need such players who don't have any nerves and show up in big matches.

 

Likes of Dube, Axar, Ishan, Raina, Venky, Krunal, Hardik are the ones who help win tourneys.

How come they have never strengthened their middle order in any ipl auction after Gill became captain?
