Both teams have their strengths and weaknesses, but have generally been the two best teams of the season. Now it is a matter of which one shows up stronger on the day.

Ashok was played as one of the four pacers when Philips was one of the overseas players. With Holder coming in as the overseas player, the 4 pacers are locked in. Add Rashid. So now the 6th bowler is more about conditions, opposition, and variety. 
 

Also GT is not short on pace bowlers.

hmm makes sense..so they tried Arshad Khan and Khejroliya for variety  for left arm pace bowling..though I feel..Ashok Sharma is better than these two..I hope they trade Gurnoor or Ashok with some other team..so they get some opportunities..

gt bowlers on the ahmedabad pitch are so deadly but can rcb replicate what india did against nz batting first and scoring 250+ because rcb definitely has the caliber

In any Final in any sport the team with the best Defense or best bowling in Cricket almost always wins so big Advantage GT and they are not playing on a patta either.

Most likely it will be the same pitch used for GT v RCB league game.

How do both teams lose

 

if we get a fixed bouncy pitch to support GT bowling, then their tuk tuk and boring 1995 batting can get the job done.

 

if it’s a flat pitch RCB favorites.

 

if it’s is a good sporting pitch, with equal support for bat and ball- RCB favs as their new ball attack is good to neutralize the Gt top order.

 

RCB I feel is the more deserving team. GT feels like SL of the old where they had 2-3 players and luck of the draw to sneak in to knockouts but bore the hell out of the viewers .
