Dube's fielding can't be hidden for 50 overs.. I'll give Shedge a chance and play Kuldeep in Edgbaston

Shegde is much better then pos called dube

What is the deal with Rana, he is injured again. He needs to get fit, he is too fat for a fast bowler.

Hope they play Brar in all three matches.Playing alongside Bumrah will certainly help him.

Its hamstring, last time he had surgery. Hope its not the case of rushing things without 100% recovery.

Hope so, that would be mean somebody gave him green signal to play without him being fit.

Is the reinjury due to his general lack of overall fitness. His weight is putting too much strain on his legs?

Prince Yadav replaces Harshit Rana.

@Nikhil_cric prediction is correct.

BCCI is saving visa cost over series win. :cantstop:

Even Yash Thakur might've been a better selection than Prince Yadav.  At least he was OK while playing for India A in the tri series List A and FC match in Sri Lanka.

280-290 very defendable at Lord's.  Cardiff 300 max (ball may move under lights) lone D/N fixture

Birmingham is tricky.. need a big total there.

I was talking about absolute extreme scenarios, bro. There was a match under lights where it looked like you would need 325 to defend in Cardiff .  NZ vs England 2023.

Highest Lords chase ever is by Dadas side - 326

At Edgbaston, the PAKs scored around 332 in 2021 and England chased it down in 47/48 overs from memory.

Someone in the BCCI finance must have thought...why to spend money on visa, anyway the 5th pacer isnt gonna play...Gurnoor, Bumrah, Arshdeep are enough.

History says that pacer coming bk from one injury will soon go back to another.

Bumrah faced that, Prasidh faced it, in IPL we saw the same with Kuldeep Sen, Yash Dayal, Mayank Yadav, Umran Malik, Mohsin.

But agree with your point that Harshit need to cut weight. He is quite tall so it doesnt show up but in long run he will lose pace and stamina like Shardul.

Edgbaston is a belter bro...like often it is in whiteball.  Even in Tests the pitch is usually flat.

Lord's these days is low scoring across formats.

Cardiff yes a D/N game so will have to see.  The side boundary is big while straight one is smaller.

You gotta adjust with it well enough.

All three Ashok Mayank Thakur will fly to Zimbabwe with rest of the T20 team.

My guess is they probably thought it's a short turnaround (3 days) Prince already in England so he can manage.

Logistical issues more like.

England still play at much faster pace in Odis as well. We have aging Rohit and Kohli. This series also will be tough for India.

Plus we don't have a attacking batter

Who are their attacking batsmen and I don't think India lacks anything in batting.

Brook Buttler Duckett Bethell those players bat at 150 strike rate easily who do we have Rohit may score 30 runs from 20 balls then get out Virat and Gill play run a ball mostly Iyer will easily get out then Kela you cant even trust that guy Washington at 7 this is not an attacking team Bumrah needs to do most of the work
