Litton had to score some runs and build partnership but gets out for duck. Bangladesh need lead of atleast 180-200 to secure the match.

Litton has been useless across all formats lately. he should have been discarded

Smith is very underrated slip fielder, his batting gets spoken alot but he is best slips fielder of this era too. Bangladesh throwing it away against new ball, can't get better chance than this.

and this record confirms it

aus will get 400+ in the 2nd innings

toygers really need a 200 lead minimum

Aussie batting is beyond washed.   At best a 300 from here.

Toygers have better bowlers than batters.

My guess is BD will be chasing 120-130 runs in 4th inns

Oh man how did kanglus get so good?

Did the boring stuff right over a period of time for which they're reaping rewards now. Drew a series in Nzl too albeit a 2 test one but still laudable.

Touring Aus SA England inside 12 months...  This could accelerate their growth.

They certainly have the bowling resources to compete

Allan Donald laid the foundation for them and deserves most of the credit

I dont want BD to win...just so that our wins in Australia dont get diluted

Aussies need to be humbled as well.

Why should only India and Eng drop tests at home?

Our aura has already been shattered to a gazillion pieces

Aus also has looked vulnerable in recent times. Drew a series against WI and Pooks gave them a fight.

Yeah they have been lucky at times.  Anyways opens the door for us in WTC.  Can't have them competing for two straight finals

Why would this undermine our wins from 5 years ago

this is a washed Aussie side and they deserve to lose

He was always pretty good against Pakistan. That's enough for us.

So Bangers have the chance to do something that Sri Lanka has never done, and Pak hasn’t been able to do in the last 30 years.

That 2020 U19 WC winning BD squad has already given them so many players.

Shoriful, Tanzid, Tanzim, Shamim, Towhid Hridoy comes to mind.  There are few more I think

yeah. this was coming. they became richer than pak somewhere in mid 2010s and we are seeing after effects now.

ultimately it all comes down to $$$.

pak can choose to remain a "rival" to india politically but that means getting left behind economically and suffering in all spheres or accept indian hegemony and attain a level of prosperity.
