Fontaine
the odis pitches are supposed to pretty flat in 2 or 3 venues so i can see bhajji's point. And what point is that? The pitches are flat so don't expect me to take a lot of wickets with spin bowling? :hysterical: Sorry, but I'm not buying it. If a player is going to make statements like that then he better damn well be prepared to back it up on the field, and looking at his record, that's not happening. Link to comment
Desi Cartman
he should calm down a bit he could easily say it will be a good contest, rather than predicting 5-0 and then ending up looking like an idiot He is not as smart as other cricketers ... Link to comment
Laaloo
It would have been more understandable if someone like Ghambhir or heck even Yuvi make these type of statements. But when a clown like harbhajan does it, it doesnt make sense. He should first concentrate on his bowling. Link to comment

coffee_rules
NZ is one of the top ODI teams. They beat Eng in Eng (altho' that doesn't say much) and are 2-2 against Aus in Aus. They are not some pushovers to say we will beat them 5-0. I will be happy with a 3-2 result and s 1-0 test series win. Even that is very difficult to attain, if only India has a strict work ethic. Pak_Forever
I suspect it won't be as easy for India as Bhajji claims. India have an edge in ODIs, but Test will certainly be a good test considering different conditions and lack of practice games. Link to comment

graphic23
dude you are pretty weird.who apart from murali is better off-spinner than bhajji right now in your esteemed estimation?. Um, Daniel Vettori ? You know, the top ranked bowler for ODIs according to the LG-ICC Rankings ? And our dearest friend Harbhajan in only 24 places below (25th). So I think we know who should be running their mouths off and who shouldn't. Link to comment

amits
why only few? He can bowl 15 overs per day in the Tests and can be our main strike bowler :musicman: dhoni can be a part-timer at best. he has to keep wickets as well & shouldnt be asked to bowl more than 4-5 overs in an odi & more than 6-7 overs in a day in a test match Link to comment

Gambit
NZ are quite plucky at home. 5-0 will be quite difficult to achieve, however winning the ODI series is expected. Link to comment

If he had said "Nz can't beat us" then it would have been foolish. i don't see any reason why Bhajji is getting stick here in this thread. WELL DONE BHAJJI. MORE POWER TO YOU Link to comment
Nash
Who ever are cursing bhajjii.. :finger: for them... Before every series somebody makes statement. And he is doing right thing.. GO bhajji GO.. We will win.. Link to comment
