It was Sreeshanth's first game after a long time and i dont think Shreck is better than Sreeshant in any means. Schreck is just a trundler at 125 to 130 ks speed, give him some time, he will do well

However, looking at the strike rate, which is probably a good indicator in a test match of how attacking a bowler is, is only 12 :woot: That's SUPERB! (I hope I calculated the S/R correctly:pray:)

If so, it was an inspired choice, a prelude to the delights to come as Yorkshire's flimsy batting line-up again providing the comedy. Warwickshire rattled along from their overnight 53 for four to make 320, courtesy of a scampish hundred by Tim Ambrose and some robust hitting from Neil Carter (67 in 59 balls, with 10 fours and two sixes). They did so far more easily than they should have on a pitch offering encouragement. It was then that the game entered sitcom land, Yorkshire led a merry dance by the Indian quick Sri Sreesanth, who bowled vigorously to have four for 36 by the close. It was a very Yorkshire comedy, canned laughter largely replaced by canned grumbling as the dangers of relegation became stark. And the plot was tiresomely familiar: two batsmen fell for ducks in the first over, an old comic line if ever there was one, and then every pitfall Warwickshire planned, sure enough Yorkshire fell into it. Jacques Rudolph fell to a first-baller for the second innings in a row. It might have been suggested that he fell to Sreesanth's slower ball, except at that point he had not bowled a quicker one. It was a loosener, banged into the middle of the pitch, which he fended to point. The second duck was that of the captain, Anthony McGrath, who has not made a championship half-century for 14 innings, a man for whom the captaincy seems a liability. Yorkshire's position became ever more calamitous. Naqaash Tahir's innocuous medium-pace is craftier than it appears. Andrew Gale overbalanced and chipped him to short midwicket; Joe Sayers pushed gently to a straight, short mid-off – two plans working perfectly, something that contrasted with Yorkshire's lack of inspiration before lunch. With four matches remaining, they are still third bottom, a point clear of Hampshire and with Warwickshire and Sussex just above them. Both these combatants have won only one Championship match. With Adil Rashid and Tim Bresnan absent with England, Yorkshire's chances of recovery are slim. Yorkshire Forward – what we used to call the tourist board – was on hand today, considering how North Marine Road could benefit from modest repairs. It might take more than that to rebuild the team.

It's a bloody DOMESTIC cricket and you are bound to collide with 'rookies' (in your terms). First, people wanted him to 'prove his worth' by joining English county....now that he has and is starting to pick wickets, people want him to face 'quality' batsmen ? :hmmmm: I would take his performance in English conditions much more seriously than the Indian domestic setup (due to pitch factor).

Yea he bowls lot of noballs, wides, waywaard deliveries in between wicket taking deliveries. Good outswing bowler. Being an outswing bowler he has to pitch the ball up to create chance. Pitching the ball up can always go for runs and also get you wickets. That is a trade-off. With experience and with better captain he can work on the economy side as well.
