maggot_brain
Anyone think so too? We haven't played a test in 7 months and we wonder why we're in trouble. Link to comment
fineleg
i agree, defensive tight technique is missing from top order They need to play more Tests and 4-day matches Link to comment

fineleg
So much experience and so feeble practice and real match practice is important. No excuses however for 31-4 in home conditions on day1 Link to comment
sm332
another reason to have practice matches for our players as well ... anyways lets see if there is a boy on the burning bridge innings from one of these two ... Link to comment
Params7
Yeah we're going to find all kinds of excuses now. Meanwhile, we're getting beat by an injured, tired Aussie side and a new, nooby Sri Lankan side Link to comment
graphic23
IMO, the pitch, the lack of practise are all worthless excuses. Sure, practice helps. But Gambhir, Sehwag, Tendulkar, and Laxman have played a combined # of over 350 Test matches. If that much experience doesn't help against 82-85 mph bowlers moving the ball a bit in the first session, nothing will help. Link to comment
Jersey #10
huh? That's from a Test Cricket hatter  Link to comment

vvvslaxman
They better take part in domestic first class games to get back in that mode. Very ordinary technique today displayed by some of our premiere batsmen. Link to comment
Gambit
What rubbish. There is no excuse for our performance today. Link to comment
Nova
No excuse for a poor show.... Link to comment
DomainK
Seems we are on a free fall. It's very sad. There is still plenty of time left in this match. I hope we come back. Link to comment
Laaloo
We're still gonna win this match. Don't worry :isalute: Link to comment
