personally i think he's better than all young sub cont batsmen bar kohli. he would have been better than kohli as well if he had the same training and support that kohli has had.

Lots of ifs and buts there. If only the pigs had wings... I am not sure about the training and support thing, but if he had more brains, he could have given Kohli some challenge. Kohli is not Kohli just because of the training, he is very smart and plays a very calculated game in every format he plays. His game involves minimal risks unlike Akmal who bats more like a blind slogger.
