cowboysfan
If bhajji is taking some wickets like this in the world cup then we can be competitive.if he is ineffective then we are up the creek without a paddle,a lot will depend on his bowling imo. Ram
The real revelation has been Ashwin. For a spinner to return the kind of figures he does, especially after bowling at the top of the innings is incredible, to say the least. Its such a pity that he isnt part of the Indian WC T20 squad, because he could be a real asset for us there too, opening the bowling.

The Outsider
MOST ECONOMICAL INDIAN SEAMERS (ER below 8)
Name| Matches | Wkts | Economy Dinda | 7 | 9 | 6.48 Nehra | 4 | 6 |6.85 Harmeet | 7 | 8 | 7.26 Trivedi | 11 | 11 | 7.32 Umesh | 7 | 6 | 7.66 Zaheer | 13 | 14 | 7.71
For T20, I won't mind us having an attack of Zaheer, Nehra, and Trivedi with Harmeet and Yadav as reserves. The rest of our bowlers are utter trash. One good thing which can come out of the IPL is that Dhoni might shed his obstinate plan of always going in with 3 seam bowlers, however trashy they might be after the success of the 3 spinner strategy for the CSK. yoda
We could use Ashwin this T-20 WC. Hope Jadeja has been keeping himself busy.
vvvslaxman
Yes. If a tournament is going to be held in spinners paradise and every team is forced to play 4 or 5 spinners India will win hands down with so many full time and part time options. We just don't exploit that strength.

zen
K11's bowling has had me in shock on many occasions, special mention to Irfan (whom I was supporting for an all-rounder's place in the side). The final over he bowled against CSK was one of the most dolly overs I have seen. Dhoni, rightly, cashed on it. In fact, he probably wouldn't have hoped of any other bowler bowling at that stage It appears as if he just comes and bowls that's it. There is no thinking, no planning, no aggression, no signs of effort being made, etc. Seems to be turing in to another Agarkar, who at least is a natural in doing all that
