Prakat Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Paan Singh Tomar 3/10 Any doubts on the sanity of Irfan Khan are dispelled after this one. The story per se, is not bad. Unique and incredulous in parts. Irfan Khan however totally makes a # of it. He looks (and acts) agitated/distant/worried in all the scenes. Even the scenes that call for the portrayal of normal demeanor. Irfan Khan = over acting + over rated. Mahi Gill and the actor who has played the Major do a good job though. I haven't seen this movie, but as for Irfan Khan's failure to impress with his acting, maybe he should take some lessons from some of the actors you consider great? :icflove:
Mariyam Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 I haven't seen this movie' date=' but as for Irfan Khan's failure to impress with his acting, maybe he should take some lessons from some of the actors you consider great? :icflove:[/quote'] Apun public hai, kisi ko kuch bhi bol sakta hai :beee: I've seen that ours views on Bollywood converge. Wrt Irfan Khan, Dilip Kumar, Rajesh Khanna, Akshay Kumar etc. You know the saying... great minds think alike. :P
Texy Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 can't wait to see Paan Singh Tomar ....looks hatke from regular crap that Bollywood dishes out...plus Tigmanshu Dhulia is simply awesome...anyone remember Haasil? also loved his recent Saheb biwi aur Gangster
kabira Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Do go with Mariyam's reviews. She only likes "Ready" Type of crap anyways
beetle Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Thanks. I thought, I am the only one to think Irfan Khan is uni-dimensional actor. true...just like Nana Patekar.
Mariyam Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Do go with Mariyam's reviews. She only likes "Ready" Type of crap anyways Dekh, Kabira (phir se) roya :((
Sooda Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 I watched Midnight in Paris... 7/10..really nice Woody Allen movie with an interesting story.. I think one might have to know a little a bit about great writers of the pat like Fitzgerland and Hemingway to appreciate it fully, but i enjoyed. Good cast in it. Also watched Love Sex and Dhoka it was not bad.. I did not expect much at all... quite a different Indian movie...
