Pretty average film. Weak plot. Poor attempt at Desifying James Bond, a concept that is quite overrated IMO. Kareena Kapoor is poor in the movie. Saif can be better. The Maryam, like all other Mariyams, dazzles. Too bad she's there only for a short time. The only good part is that they didn't add untimely song and dance sequences. A very no nonsense, brusque, too the point film. Just that the 'point'/ plot was very far fetched and poorly constructed.The film does have some novelty value though. My rating 4/10

gaurav92 Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Finally watched Kahaani : 9.5/10 What a wonderful movie it was. The best suspense/ thriller movie that I have watched in the hall. The suspense keeps you on the edge of your seat and the editing is masterclass :hatsoff: Unlike many other Bollywood suspense movies, this one is "Flawless" and "Logical". It doesn't have an inch of presumption in its storyline which is a rarity in films these days. You keep guessing what will happen next, and every single time, you are surprised. Beautiful movie and gorgeous Vidya (Bidda) does a brilliant job in the movie :nice: All in all, a must watch movie for everyone.
Prakat Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Going by the rave reviews its been getting, will try and catch Kahani soon. Vidya sure seems to know how to pick a script. Suddenly it's like all those scripts with a strong heroine role that have been lying in wait are bursting out of bollywood all of a sudden now that there is someone to do those roles and do them justice. Kareena can suck ass as always with her 'three expressions of surprise/sulk/bachao' and be called the queen of bollywood all she wants, but the fact is there's a new queen in town and she's not afraid to rock.
