I meant Egyptian Arabic which is spoken widely there. There is some sort of an audible distinction from mainstream Arabic or maybe it's just me. Regardless' date=' you should watch it...great movie![/quote'] No, you are right. They do have a different accent and they use a lot of french.

Life of Pi - interesting for sure, the storytelling is wonderful. The so called 3D at a Mumbai multiplex wasn't up to the mark. Talaash - below average. I can't believe the tardy script took 5 years in the making. Dabangg 2 - Garbage as expected. Flight - decent, Denzel as always is solid. Always liked Don Cheadle as well. The other performances are also good. Jack Reacher - Starts of well, turns into run of the mill in the second half.

Jack Reacher: The movie is mostly true to the book. They have tried to keep the character as close to the novel's character as possible, but it's not easy since Tom Cruise is way too different from the novel's Reacher. I liked the movie.

Naah, that can't be it. This was Andheri (probably W), might be Fun cinemas. You remember the jellyfish scene at night ? All blurry, there's no way it was originally like that.

If you have read the novel, you would know that Tom Cruise does not look like Reacher from any angle. .
talk about coincidence. i was going agatha christie's poirot TV series and the gist of the plot is based on agatha christie's ABC murders. Having seen the original only 2 weeks ago,i could see the plot unravellin eacxtly as i sensed ! there was also a malayalam hit grandmaster that was inspired by the same work in a different way. ofrcourse gumnaam(1965) was based on "and then there were none".

Django Unchained - ****ing awesome. I got home about 2:30am last night, jumped on comp and saw Django Screener out, put it on download and watched it. Finished at 5:45, just in time for the toss in the IndvPak game. Anyways I'm watching it again tonight. It was that good. The Paperboy was another good movie. Hitchcock also to be seen, anyone seen it yet?

Anyone seen the TV show Boondocks? There's a character on there Uncle Ruckus, it seemed Stephen was based on him...Just too similar [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knQWlri5GGw]The best of Uncle Ruckus Pt.1 (UNCENSORED) - YouTube[/ame]

I was seriously put off when I first heard that Cruise was going to play Reacher. If you have read the novel, you would know that Tom Cruise does not look like Reacher from any angle. However, from what read from other reviews,Tom Cruise has not really let down with his portrayal of the character. I will watch the film on Monday.
Indeed. I think the author himself mentioned Russell Crowe would've been apt for Reacher.

Lion King 3D watched it to check how 3D effect was...at home. 3D worked in parts especially in the beginning. Every time i see it, it is always like seeing it for the first time. Timeless classic.

Les Miserables - Hugh Jackman was born to play Jean Valjean. Some of the songs are pretty good too: ------ Look down, look down Don't look them in the eye! Look down, look down You're here until you die! Look down, look down It is hot as hell below! Look down, look down There are twenty years to go!

Around Christmas when my vacation plans did not look like materializing, the obvious fall back option was movies. Since I hadn't done this movie-than thing for quite a while. So I started [ jai shriganesh ] with something light on head "Don 2" (Mariyam would be proud). But, once I started... about 10-12 days and few liters of scotch-whisky later, here is the result: (not in the order I watched) 1. 2001 A Space Odyssey - master piece of its time. graphics/effects/cinematography etc..whatever they call it, is unbelievable for its time.. if you no one tells you it was made in 1968, it can easily pass of as work of 90s/2000s. 2. 3:10 to Yuma - watched because of the cast, wasnt disappointed (but nothing great) 3. A Dangerous Method - decent, I felt Keira was overacted a bit more than required. 4. B1t
