Sooda Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Watched The Silver Linings Playbook finally- good film, nice story and well acted.
youngindia Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 gangster squad- some intense action for action movie fans but something missing to rank as a classic..one time watch. zero dark thirty- was fully interested in the topic...hence was fully absorbed."maya", a initiative orieted CIA agent hunts down OBL ,by following the lead of a courier known by the "war name"(different from real names of AL q operatives) of "abu ahmed". in the film, its claimed that through the maze of information ,CIA could not narrow it down to his real name for over four to five years. extraordinary considering many believe CIA and NSA have extra ordinary computing resources at their disposal. According to the film, she only gets grudging support from superiors who are not fully convinced about the lead.

surajmal Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 django unchained is basically kill bill with american south as the setting. There is no rhyme or reason to the plot, so if you shut your brain before walking into the hall, movie is awesome entertainment.
Laaloo Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 :two_thumbs_up:Just Saw Real Steel What a ridiculously entertaining movie :hatsoff:

cowboysfan Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I watched Silver linings playbook and it was great with outstanding acting from everyone involved. Jennifer Lawrence is what i call a natural actor, she should win the oscar this time.
Sooda Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 ^Agreed. Watched it just a few days ago, nice film Not seen the other actresses whive been nominated but Lawrence is good in that. Brad Cooper is surprising too...

yoda Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Life of Pi - 3D effects were good, wasn't blown away by the movie, expected more.
coffee_rules Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 ^ Had read the book and was curious to find out how they adapted it to a movie. They have done an amazing job and exceeded expectations. How did it fall short for you? They can't dwell on the story as well as they do in the book, that's true for all movies based on books/novels. This one being a unique story (classic motif of a story that seems to be based on real life events) was depicted as well as it is done in the book.
zakk Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 :beee: SOTY bad movie same old story with bad direction :--D
