Crookbond Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 I watched Cloud Atlas. This movie is like a research paper - one has to make multiple iterations to understand it completely. The first pass only gives you a big picture.

It is amazing it took him 12 years to get established in the industry. Sad really. If you ain't a marketable face or son/daughter of a star, be ready to slug it out in the trenches regardless of how talented you are.

Hyped movie, the movie was not that great How will the younger looper know that rainmaker kid doesn't turn out to be bad when he grows up. The mom can still die and with nobody else taking care of that kid, he can still turn out to be a bad one. Stupid ending, IMO.
