he's messing with you. dhanush did good in the film. he acts better than most bollywood actors :two_thumbs_up:
Why are almost all south Indian stars shown as creepy stalkers who refuse to take no from a lady as an answer? Why don't they say no to such roles? Am pretty sure this causes a lot of increase in stalking and harassment of girls in real life

In south, the hero talks to her like dirt (with Oi, tch tch...cat calls) and she falls for him. Truly WTF. He gets the girl for being an obnoxious oaf.

Rajiv Masand' date=' one of the most credible critic has given it 3 stars.[/quote'] Not 3 but 3 1/2 stars, I didnt read his review coz I decided to watch the movie based on the rating, but it turned out to be disappointing, it was a good visual treat, but it had a lot of plotholes, there were scenes in the movie where we laughing and I guess they were meant to be serious/scary?
The movie really went south hill after Jerusalem, when they were on their way to the WHO! One time watch at the most.

Esp. in those movies which happen in southern part of TN or in Chennai, with actors and directors hailing from there, these the common traits. The hero will be a rogue, looks like a begger, no sense of cleanliness, doesn't shave, doesn't work or earn money, treats parents like dirt, doesn't talk but shout, hits other girls in head, a humour which we can't laugh, bullies the strangers etc., The villan doesn't need to be bad, if hero "dislikes" him, then he is the villan. And the heroine usually will be from North or a Mallu. What they are trying to do is, they want to project people from those areas are cool guys :giggle: The biggest culprits are Bala, Sasikumar, and a boat load of newbies. I m sick of this trend and stopped watching Tamil movies lately. :headshake:

Finally watched Gangster Squad and Django Unchained recently.. Both pretty average filled with silly almost cartoonish violence. Im not a huge Tarantino fan, this film confirmed that, very well acted though- Leo, Jamie Foxx and SL Jackson all v good. Gangster Squad packed a great cast which was wasted in an ok film and story... not sure how the likes of Penn, Brolin and Gosling signed up for it, not bad but nothing speical.

I think you hate dhanush :dontknow:[/quote'] Good movies are coming but there are too many bad movies. It's like only 5 or 6 movies per year are actually good. I din't liked maatraan and ethir neechal is just average. And I hate dhanush, if he acts in action movie or in a comedy movie. :giggle:
