Esp. in those movies which happen in southern part of TN or in Chennai, with actors and directors hailing from there, these the common traits. The hero will be a rogue, looks like a begger, no sense of cleanliness, doesn't shave, doesn't work or earn money, treats parents like dirt, doesn't talk but shout, hits other girls in head, a humour which we can't laugh, bullies the strangers etc., The villan doesn't need to be bad, if hero "dislikes" him, then he is the villan. And the heroine usually will be from North or a Mallu. What they are trying to do is, they want to project people from those areas are cool guys :giggle: The biggest culprits are Bala, Sasikumar, and a boat load of newbies. I m sick of this trend and stopped watching Tamil movies lately. :headshake: You are over-generalizing. It is better than wearing full make up and jewels at midnight. Yes ther e is a trend in making movies based on village or poor people in cities. I gave up on Tamil movies few years back.. But recently they have made some good movies. All 3 movies of Vijaysethupathi were good. I am not a fan of Vijay.. So don't pay much attention to his movies. Also i hate punch dialogue movies.

Totally out acted buy Shannon/Crowe/Costner. Lois Lane was poor too. Having said that the fights were excellent and great effects

Its mostly to do with Lois's awareness of Superman's alter ego. It spoils the whole plot.

But she has become a MILF. Totally out of place.

It was a bit silly and made worse by Cavill being a pretty poor actor. He does look a lot like Alistair Cook which was distracting. Totally out acted buy Shannon/Crowe/Costner. Lois Lane was poor too. Having said that the fights were excellent and great effects It's a hollywood masala movie :dontknow: sharp cgi + a lot of things blowing up + limited cliches + simple story (popcorn filick for adults & easy for children & pre teens) + a homely babe + action babe + good looking heros + american propaganda + good marketing + a happy ending = absurd lot of money. Avengers, Iron man, Thor, Transformers, Micheal bay movies, Emmerich movies (it's lame in many levels) , Speilberg movies, are good examples. Captain America, Amazing Spiderman (wayyy better than the original triology) , Green Lantern and a few others made less money bcoz less stuff blowing up Dark Knight saga is an exception. Begins got my mind blown, but it made less money.

I expect better from a DC movie. :headshake: With Nolan's inclusion in the movie I thought it would be better than this. It was a blast with all those action scenes but the story was disappointing. Cavill might not be the best actor around but he is the best guy to play Superman.
