Detonator Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 The Green Slime - The plot is a an asteroid is on a collision course with Earth, so a team is sent to drill holes and place explosives in this to save our planet. Armageddon (1998) or Deep Impact (1998), are a shameless rip off from this awesome movie. The only change they did not copy is the solution for the end of the world. In green slime, the solution is not to stop the asteroid but is to move the entire Earth out of the way. :hysterical:

Had high expectations after watching the trailer and the reviews. 1993 riots and Shahid Azmi's training at terrorist camps is just touched upon and barely consists of 5 minutes. His relations with his family members, his romance, marriage, married life etc. constitute big part and suck the pace out of the movie. At times it seems going nowhere. Very good subject though.

The scene where they go out to search for Schultz and Django in the night with their faces covered with bags and small holes made in it is truly fabulous, its so ****ing amazing, I can still laugh at it. I can see no ****ing thing, I don't wanna wear this mother****ing thing ! LOL

Have to say that I did not think it was that great overall, the film
