Special 26 is arguably a better done con-possibly-inspired-by-real-life-events film. However American H is lifted by some super acting as you'd expect from an all star cast. Bale, Cooper, Adams and Lawrence are all brill. Renner too. You know what they mean when they talk about acting charisma when you watch this. Well made and genuinely funny in parts. Just watched AH. AH was totally hyped by all the Oscar nominations. It is an average movie, well acted by all cast. JL has acted very well despite all the bad press. She acts the dumbo blond so naturally. She walked away in many scenes. Kept waiting for the final big con, and it never happened with all the hype. I thought Bale was irritating in some scenes with his "learned" acting hype, he cant come close to either DDL or LDC.
