fineleg Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 dravid is by far the SECOND best batsman for india. Without him india would have sucked big time. Being a big sachin and sehwag fan... i thot without dravid india would have been ****. When he was in form... he made even likes of tendulkar look mediocore player. Such was his consistency and the man for crisis just like laxman. I would love to have him for another 2 years. Yep, it was reassuring to see him bat in those times, and one of the crisis men for India. 2 years - I dont know if he will play that long, but if he gets back some kind of good form and his touch back, and stays for a while, that will be amazing. But I guess, he'll know when to hang up his boots.
saneindian Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Aah, can we have some pies served please? :winky:

King Tendulkar Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Mehhhhh...because he bashed a minnow attack on a flat track at a SR of 35?? I assume you are being sarcastic?
Ram Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 We should have an auto-program here in ICF to do the following; Situation 1- Seniors; a) Open threads asking seniors to retire or be dropped if they fail in two matches (cue, Dravid, VVS..etc) & b)Bump that thread and fill it with auto-responses of pictures of pies when that said player scores runs in the next match Situation 2- Spinners; a) Create threads that roast our spinners when they fail to run through opposition on some of the flattest tracks in the world (Cue Bhajji, Ojha) b) Praise them when the same set of spinners destroy the opposition when the conditions suit them. Situation 3 - Players with contenders for their spots a) When some player with some significant compeition fails, open a thread asking if the contender should replace the original player (Cue Raina versus Pujara) & b) Bump that same thread when player 'A' delivers. This way, we can save our posters the energy of posting around 90% of their posts. :icflove:

It is so damn easy for them to get in the soup every single time.
don_corleone840 Posted December 28, 2010 Author Posted December 28, 2010 what the hell is dravid trying to prove??? y dont he just retire.
vvvslaxman Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Whether Dravid has to retire or not is a different issue. But every time we go to SA we have to stop saying "Players like Dravid are important in SA conditions". Because he is not anymore. Even at his best he did just okay.
don_corleone840 Posted December 28, 2010 Author Posted December 28, 2010 frankly speaking.dhoni is looking best indian batsman soo far in this series. dravid really succkks. when was the last time he scored century in tough condition?? i mean whats the point of keeping dravid in team if he cant score overseas.
Andy Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Yes Dravid needs to Go. For me we should get Pujara at 3 and Vijay at 6.
ravishingravi Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Yup Pujara has outscored him in this match. Oh wait ?
coffee_rules Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Yes, it looks like Karnataka needs him more than India. Let him come back and win a Ranji for Karnataka.
Shakthi Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 DRAVID needs to stop partying vijay mallya is spoiling him.
don_corleone840 Posted December 28, 2010 Author Posted December 28, 2010 Both dravid and ponting are living in false dream that they will outscore tendulkar. i think thats the main reason that they dont want to retire rahulrulezz 1
rahulrulezz Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 The way Dravid has played against top quality attacks has been pathetic... has always disappointed us be it against Australia or SouthAfrica... I have zero expectations of him now... I remember Dravid of early 90s being defensive but wud always score against bad deliveries... but now a days, this guy jus digs a hole and sits there till he gets burried.... He needs to know that it only takes 1 good ball to loose wicket, so try to score most out of other balls...
don_corleone840 Posted January 6, 2011 Author Posted January 6, 2011 Last chance for dravid!!! If he cant score today , then he should immediately retire from cricket or selectors should throw him out of the team.
urbestfriend Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Shut up, you are no one to give him the last chance
