i was aware that Sanga was a big whiner , but he beats his own worst with this stupid comments. he must be feeling a lot miserable on losing the 3rd test, despite setting up 250+ target. he talks about the chances missed by SL but conveniently forgets about the catches missed by Indians. this guy must have an inferiority complex, only such people keep mentioning how they r superior to others!!!

^added to that the wicket of Vijay, which should have been adjudged not out. if the same thing happned to an SL batsman, Sanga would have been shouting from the roof tops, loser!

WTF!

India has beaten sri lanka so many times now, that it has frustrated Sanga. After winning the first match he thought finally we have a chance, we can beat India, but only to get disappointed again It will be good for him to know as early as possible that he is a big loser and needs to shut up.

one thing SL was better than India , was in Toss! Dhoni made it clear in the presentation ceremony that after the first test, the team bounced back well. we took first innings lead in 2nd test, and beat them in 3rd test convincingly. sanga needs to understand cricket batter rather than throwing all his toys from the pram... guess he must have been screwed by Aravinda de silva and other selectors, even Jayasurya M.P was upset about his lack of captaincy skills. would serve them well if Sanga improves that area ...

http://www.cricinfo.com/sri-lanka-v-india-2010/content/current/story/471417.html "poor batting cost us the win" by sanga is this guy a first class idiot or what their tailender batted with gusto and set them up a great total 250 plus and he blames their batting instead of giving opposition credit. How were they better side from second test, we took the lead and they were under pressure on fifth day in second test too. That session I think show Indian team that these ftbs will crumble under pressure and sure they did here. They got gift of one wicket from their third umpire no other umpire would have given Vijay out. He won all the tosses and batted first he was complaining in India losing toss mean losing test, well here he won all the tosses and India never complained.Even Aussies when they play in India complain about the toss , we never complained about losing toss. So whiny Sanga STFU and accept who is no 1.He needs to learn how to give opposition credit from Steve Waugh Steve Waugh when he lost the series in 2001 when asked if they batted poorly "no we gave them 155 target which we thought was good enough but India batted well so congrats to them."

Sanagakkara is a disgraceful captain. Personally, I would make Samarweera, or Dislahn the captain of Lankan team. Or if i am lankan fan, i would pray that Mahela take over lankan captaincy again. Because Sangakkara won't take this sri lankan team anywhere with his captaincy. Too much changin/chopping, crap interviews etc plus can't react under pressure.

I don't understand why he started with Walegedra when he had Malinga. Its known fact that when ball gets older its easier to bat. All they had to do is get 2 more wickets quickly. REally poor captaincy.

Actually the PTI article is a misrepresentation of what he said, when I read the cricinfo article I dont get the feeling he said that SL was the better team. Further read this, "Sangakkara denied that the defeat had given India a moral victory. "Not really, one all is one all. It's neither here nor there. I thought right throughout the Test we took more wickets and scored more runs. We created a lot more opportunities as well. But converting those opportunities in these two Tests wasn't there. It was the only window India had to come back into this series." He was actually responding to a leading question.

i think Malinga bowled some 30 overs in the first innings and bowled a lot of bouncers. that must have taken a toll on his suspect knees.the physio must have cautioned about Malinga's condition.he went off again after bowling 2 overs in the first session. not sure whether he would play in all matches in the one day series.
