protein is overrated anyways. there is no scientific evidence proving how much is necessary. its all rule of thumb. just take a clue from herbivorous animals which are muscular while eating hay.
:cantstop: Are you for real man

Lost 1.5 kg in last 18 days with a bit of low calorie diet management and 30-40 minutes of intensive bowling regularly. Did no other real exercise other than that as not going to gym too due renovation going on there. That after I had gained 2 kg in 20 days before that.

I m saying this for a long time. Use cycle to travel instead of motor vehicles. - Saves money on fuel. - Low maintenance. - You can eat whatever you want. Can just throw out all the diet plans. - Not just it will help to reduce fat, you will remain fit. - No need to worry about traffice jams. - No need to worry abt police for drunken driving or without licence. - Accidents are less fata unless u r hit by a train or bus (:(( )

Hi guys, I'm 5 ft 9' tall and weigh 148 lbs.. Recently into gymming, can comfortably do 20 pushups and 10 dips But I find it really hard to do 2 pull ups. Currently I'm jumping up and doing negatives ie.slowly coming down. How long will it take to do 10 pullups? Lifting aside, I believe pull ups is the best upper body exercise along with pushups... No point in lifting too much unless I can do a decent number of pull ups...Your advice?

not true, most of the bodybuilders cannot do pullups. infact tonnes of people with great physiques who cant even do one pullup.

not true' date=' most of the bodybuilders cannot do pullups. infact tonnes of people with great physiques who cant even do one pullup.[/quote'] wtf is wrong with you..stop giving wrong advice... I won't call a bodybuilder a bodybuilder if they can't do pullups.. Pullups as The Dark Horse mentioned is the best upper body exercise for gymholics...Pull bars is the most occupied gym machine... I personally wait for atleast 5 mins on the pullup bar section everyday to get to my turn... Totally agree ...Pullups are the way to go.. and I do understand your pain of not being able to more than 1 but don't worry... I remember when I started I couldn't do one and now I do, 8 x 3, 8 x3 6x3 = 66 pullups... How did I do that.. I started by gaining strength.. I used to put a chair underneath the pull bar and put my feet on it, and push myself up using the support but come down on my own.. I did that for 1 year..slowly I built up my strength to do 10, then went to 20 then 30 and now to 66 without cheating.. so build strength first by using a chair or ask someone to push you up and but come down on your own.. and as I said earlier, give it time.. the best thing is, you are lighter so would be really easy for you...
