I grew up in India hearing some words which sounded funny, but at same time i can call them "Legendary" Would love to hear such words being used again so I an get to hear them from diff people Some of those words are DOUBLE ROTI FOR BREAD :) THIS ONE IS THE REAL EPIC ONE.. NOTHING BEATS IT. BIKRI - USED BY LOTOF BUSSINESS PEOPLE as in "bikri ho rahi hai bhaisaab?" Boni - Hindi word for first sale of the day so add some more folks..

alana falana dimka : It means etc, wageirah wageirah & whatchmacallit all rolled into one. Heard it first used by a Parsi professor a few years ago. Since then I must have used the phrase a million times by now.

alana falana is a very popular one. Don't know where that "dimka" came from. But I remember my hindi teacher used to say "Alana-falana" or something

dodh daaya = dedh shaana = oversmart vaayda = :dontknow: :cantstop::cantstop: P.S. I have never used these words btw :embarassed: But always makes me laugh when I hear them. :--D:--D
