Fetish for girls' pillows lands Bangalore principal in jail http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/fetish-for-girls-pillows-lands-principal-in-jail/1/369063.html

The pricipal of a government-run girls' residential school on the Bangalore outskirts has been arrested over charges of misbehaving with his students. Mallikarjun Swamy (52) reportedly had a strange fetish for his students' pillows and blankets. He would also dance in the corridors of the school hostel late in the night often in an inebriated state. :cantstop: Swamy, the principal of Kittur Rani Chennamma Girls Residential School in Yellamanapalya in Anekal taluk, began this weird behaviour within a month of being transferred to the school. He allegedly pressured the girls to share their pillows, blankets and bedspreads with him, saying that they would facilitate his "fantasies". His bizarre behaviour extended to dancing in the corridors of the hostel late in the night after consuming liquor. He would often strip to bare nothings and venture into the hostel. The security guard at the hostel remained oblivious to the principal's weird behaviour and failed to inform other senior officials about the incidents. Instead, after observing the principal's behaviour for some days, Karthik (22), the security guard, also decided to take advantage of the situation. He, too, joined the headmaster in the corridors and even recorded the whole act on his mobile phone. :hysterical: Karthik has also been arrested along with Swamy. After suffering for some time, the students, who were in the age group of 6-14 years, decided to bring the issue to their parents' notice. On June 20, one of the parents of the hostel inmates lodged a complaint with the Anekal police station against the principal accusing him of misbehaving with the students. The parents also named the security guard as the second accused. Things turned dramatic when local cable TV channels got hold of the video clip made by the security guard dancing on the corridors of the girls' hostel and telecast it. The section of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act, 2012, has been slapped on both the accused. The Karnataka government has assured the girls' parents that they would look into the anomalies at the school.

Burglar logs in to Facebook in victim’s house, forgets to sign off Minnesota prowler's bungle leads to arrest on burglary charges.

A 27-year-old Minnesota man appears to have violated at least two tenets of the digital age: never log in to your Facebook account in a stranger's house you're burglarizing, and don't forget to sign off if you do. The alleged actions have led to the arrest of a South St. Paul man on burglary charges. Nicholas Steven Wig is accused of stealing cash, credit cards, a watch, a checkbook, and other items. When the victim came home last week, he noticed a screen missing from a window and his house in disarray. He also discovered his home computer was open to a Facebook page of one "Nick Dub," who turned out to be Wig, police said. The suspect also took some of the homeowner's clothes and put them on, leaving his own wet clothes behind at the scene, according to police. "He made himself at home," Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom said. "Law enforcement located Defendant and observed he was wearing a Relic watch that matched the description of the watch taken in the burglary," the complaint (PDF) says. "When asked if he had items that did not belong to him, Defendant stated he was going to give everything back." When arrested, the authorities said the suspect also had the victim's car keys and iPod shuffle with him.
