Cricketics Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 The past 5-6 days have been the most stressful days of my life. Especially yesterday all day was the most stressful day. I might have earned some grey hair because of that. On one side I was trying to be so positive online, and on other end it was all stress yesterday about the buildup and result of the match and about how it will feel today at this time when the game is done. Will the pakistanis be all over us or will we be relieved that we had won. Having followed Cricket for such a long period of time, I have to say, last night was the most stressful time for me throughout my life. Never happend like this. Close to this was the 2020 world cup final or perhaps equal to it. Rite now I feel so relieved. NO stress, and now i can sleep for few nights peacefully. This is what a India-Pakistan knockout game can do a REAL PASSIONATE INDIAN CRICKET FAN. So How Are you feeling now?? Share your instance
Switchblade Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 TBH for a week i was also nervous wanted 30th to come asap yesterday i was cool but during match time i was little nervous after we won was very happy but there is a final to be played so after we win il:yay:
satishg Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 I actually wasnt that nervous for this match compared to our quarter finals against the Aussies. I always knew that it would be extremely hard to beat Aussies in a knock out game and we needed to be at our very best to win that game and thats exactly how that game panned out. And after that win i was pretty sure on our victory for this game. Although SRT struggling on this pitch gave me a lot of anxious moments, once we reached 260 i knew the game was in our bag. So yea i feel happy and relieved that we have reached the finals which was expected from this team right from the very start.
Laaloo Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 I don't feel anything :dontknow: I'm happy that we won, but that's about it
Shehezaada Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 pretty much exact same way you do tics....feel like a huge pressure release man. But I have to say I was more nervous in the build up to the Aussie game then the PAK one, I thought we would win this one...we are better man to man
BERGKAMP Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Huge pressure and stress relief for me as well. I feel so relexed and free now. I am just looking forward to the final now, no worries on what will happen or the repercussions. I have been dreading the thought of seeing the Pakis walk out at Mumbai for the national anthems. Even though it is the final, a defeat on Saturday will be a 100 times more easier to take than defeat today would have been.
punjabi_khota Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 I am absolutely pumped. Got up early to watch the batting, walked in sleepy into the office and basically just didn't do much today. Haven't followed a game so closely in a long while. Got some beer and chicken tikka now, watching highlights :woot:
goose Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 I can't quite figure out whether it's outright denial or misplaced optimism but I just couldn't see us losing today, at any stage. The pain of losing and joy of winning is not a precise symmetry, by a long way. Feels great we get to contest a final. I normally like the solace of my bedroom tv for these games but think i'll be seeking out a pub and some Indians for the final!

Indian Pride Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Total euphoria, and massive stress release..!! Can finally get some sleep. :o)
flamy Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Erm... to be honest, I had quiet confidence abt the Aus game and was mulling over a possible upset tonight. Just relieved it didn't happen. What am I feeling now? Proud. :isalute:
Manny_Pacquiao Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 i was confident in our ability to beat this crappy team, but i would have to be made of granite and iron to not feel delighted with a victory in what was quite possibly the biggest cricket match of all time. the reality sunk in when i spoke with my grandparents back in india, who told me that all offices and schools had been closed, or at least called half day, and that the country had completely shut down. i cant imagine what its like in india right now, wish i could be there but oh well. a victory in a massive game. oppositon captain begging his country for forgiveness. this doesnt happen every day. the world cup final will feel better but not by much.
