zubinpepsi Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 say watever about him.. but i loved his commentary yesterday... esp he was shouting oww yuvi yuvi yuvieddd when yuvraj bowled asad.. simply awesome.. hair rasing stufff.... :two_thumbs_up:
Lord Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 was good.OTOH was pathetic. When Sehwag was beating the crap outta Gul,he didnt give credit one bit to Sehwag, but kept suggesting what Pak need to do n where they r wrong
gaurav92 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Yes he has been good in this tourney. Certainly my second fav. after bumble :icflove:
achilles Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 He's my favourite commentator. The passion in his voice is evident in every game. And he brings a human touch to the presentation ceremony's too. Lets get him for the IPL. PS- One of the few things we agree on :P
goose Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 he's awful. if you haven't heard much of him i agree he can bring a bit extra to the commentary box with his romantic hyperbole but after while it gets tedious.
BERGKAMP Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 It is not genuine enthusiasm and exitement in his voice, it is all fake, to make sure he gets on all the highlights packages.
Ranvir Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 He was blatently supporting Pakistan yesterday, just like all the other English commentators who always support whoever is playing India.
goose Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 He was blatently supporting Pakistan yesterday' date=' just like all the other English commentators who always support whoever is playing India.[/quote'] Agreed. You sense that there's an underlying resentment that everything from the wicket and economics favours India, and they've taken it upon themselves to protect the poor little subcontinental brother's interests. Some things never change!
BERGKAMP Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 We are already the most powerful and richest Cricketing nation in the world, the best test team currently and have the oppurtunity to become world champions. I can see some little Englanders getting very upset. :giggle:
The Realist Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Nicholas is awful beyond belief - a journeyman county cricketer who somehow manages to sneak into commentary positions with TV stations across the world. He is a pathetic sycophant who will say anything to cosy up to whichever station he is working for. A couple of years ago when Aus were playing at home against West Indies and Pakistan he was having a man crush with various members of the Aussie team. He seemed to orgasm when talking about Symonds making a simple stop in the field. I'm sure there have been previous threads here about his biased commentating. Don't take my word for it, the Aussies can't stand the toad either: http://forum.sportal.com.au/default.aspx?g=posts&t=67643
coffee_rules Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 I hate Mbangwa ..loud and jumpy..His slow words kill you. s.o.u.t.h a.f.r.i.c.a. h.a.s d.o.n.e i.t a.g.a.i.n
Fontaine Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 He's a hack. Could be wrong but I was pretty sure he was questioning why put a leg slip fielder when Bhajji was bowling and immediately pad hit ball went in that exact direction. He's a front running fool.
Deleted_User_1 Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 He does bring emotion to the game ala Bill Lawry.
Indian Pride Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 he's a commentary slag. Spot on. He has the brownest nose out of all the comms.. His commentating makes me feel sick. Just give him his Oz citizenship and let him live out the rest of his life in Pontings back yard.
VRV Singh Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 The only commentator to make us believe Bradman is at the crease when Michael Clarke bats
