Rajiv Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Same thing happened in Vancouver, cops were scared to touch the crowd as the crown is more worried about lawsuits
WC2011INDIA Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Hahahaha I bet Serani and Wobblydoggy took full advantage of this situation.
King Tendulkar Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Initial ballistics reports suggest that the police officer shot by the "gangster" was a police bullet. Looks like we have a classic police execution and attempted cover up on our hands. Riot away Looks like serani is in full agreement with the scum and what they are doing. I can see him and wobbly falling out over this:cantstop:
Cricketics Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 WOW sounds llike bigger party for people. Bigger than boxing day sale or black friday of u.s
Sachinism Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 looters having a field day http://catchalooter.tumblr.com/page/2 where the **** is police Police were nowhere to be seen while many stores got cleaned out
ganeshran Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Are the police not using teargas and rubber pellets? Regardless of the underlying cause of the current unrest, a discussion needs to happen only after the violence ceases. Why should the state be sympathetic towards people who choose violence as a means to express themselves?
Serani Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Looks like serani is in full agreement with the scum and what they are doing. I can see him and wobbly falling out over this:cantstop: This has nothing to do with the shooting of that man, of course I am not in agreement with these thugs.
asterix Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 ^ No Teargas or rubber bullets..Heck they might not even be carrying any guns..They are all in protective gears and holding shields+batons and moving in a line, up and down the streets while Rioters wind them up by throwing stuffs and then simply move to the other areas.. They effing don't have any strategy to "box" the rioter in the streets from both ends. It's as if they just wish the rioters to go away and leave them in peace..
Dhondy Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Very noble sentiments, Gunnar. I see you have got yourself an admirer- the omniscient Mr Sharma. Congratulations. I'd put that on my CV, if I were you. I agree with K_T. When your house is set on fire in the middle of the night by hooded thugs, when five generations of hard work go up in flames, when people in a civilised country are beseiged and robbed in the streets by a baying mob, society resembles the jungle. Britain's left fashioned mild rebuke-driven law enforcement is utterly impotent to deal with such atrocities. Britain should take a leaf from the US, and look at how the police dealt with New Orleans. The Left and their self-serving guilt trips never cease to amaze me. The rioters and criminals, the common looter has rights. What about the rest of us?

The rioters and criminals, the common looter has rights. What about the rest of us? I am hardly looking for admirers. I do however take offence when people in the guise of upholding democratic values perpetuate violence against citizens of the same country. No one is supporting the riots nor is anyone denying the pain suffered by many. However brutal police action will only result in a deeper wedge into the society ultimately turning this country into a war zone. I don't know about you but I have always liked Britain as a moderate country which honestly cared about its population. I would be pretty sad if migrants from third countries brought in their warped sense of tribal justice and imposed it in this country. If you want this to never happen again then the only solution is long term correction. I am quite frankly appalled at your sentiment that Britain should learn anything from America in relation to law enforcement. If the ones you all term "thugs" and "looters" rather simplistically had as much to lose as you and I living in our comfortable London residences perhaps they would not do what they are doing.
punjabi_khota Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Someone call an ambulance, Gunner's bleeding heart ran out of blood
ganeshran Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Gunner, how do you propose the police control the violence and stop the looting? Asking police to stop the violence is not tribal justice, its pretty much what most britons would be doing. No one is advocating them to be shot but surely tear gas is the order of the day.
ravishingravi Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Seems like things have got out of hand quite quickly.
yoda Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 You don't have to do anything extra-ordinary. Just follow the law and proper due process, whatever that is under British law. :P
King Tendulkar Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 This has nothing to do with the shooting of that man' date=' of course I am not in agreement with these thugs.[/quote'] You have a tyical west indian chip on your shoulder. The guy was a hard core criminal. Hard core scum drugs dealer. He had spent time indside. HE HAD A GUN!!! Police should shoot more of this scum. Just cos he is black you are all upset. The guy had it coming and if not police then another gang would have killed him like how his cousin died. You are acting as if some innocent black man was walking down the street and got gunned down by uk police cos they did not like his colour. It also show the police are right to target certain people for stop and searches. The majority of the thugs in riots are black and need to be stooped and searched more, as clealry they are the criminals. Just like in anti terroism clealry muslims need to be targeted more by olice as the terrorism threat comes from them and not others. Its just common sense policing
ludhianvi Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 It is easy to pass remarks while you yourself are vacationing somewhere in India or Antarctica. When it is your shop and family on the line, everything changes. Ask those residents at ground zero whose shops, houses, businesses are being destroyed and looted. They would want this stopped ASAP as would any reasonable person. No one is asking to kill them or to go on a violent rage but stopping this mayhem through proper means is a no-brainer. Continuation of looting and property damage will do no one any good. Some actually believe in letting this continue? I find that quite outrageous to say the least. Is this for some social injustice or something of greater cause? From the looks of it, people are just looting and stealing just because they can.
Sachinism Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 - The Independent Police Complaints Commission says there is no evidence that Mark Duggan opened fire at police officers before he was shot dead after studying ballistic test results. Now the looters will feel there actions are justified
