Detonator
he has amazing fitness, so will be consistent and gonna be the Aussies answer to steyn. :hatsoff: Link to comment
Temujin Khaghan
he is fulfilling his teacher Lillee's prophesy as the "once in a generation bowler" :two_thumbs_up: Link to comment
Raghav_12
He is bloody beast at the moment. Test cricket needs his this incarnation. Already 28 wickets in this Ashes. Second best is 14 (and that is his bowling average) Link to comment
saneindian
Wonder how the Aussies would have done without him in the series? Wouldn't have been as one sided as it has been. Also makes the performance of Rohit Sharma and Kohli in the ODI series that much more valuable esp Kohli who took on a bowler bowling at his best, though on flatter pitches. Link to comment
Sajid_Rana
I think our batsmen play him well' date='the pommies are not picking up his slingy action.[/quote'] Pakistan batsmen also have done well against him. He averages 35 against us. Hafeez will sort him out next year when Aus plays against Pakistan in UAE roads. Link to comment

rkt.india
I had said even before last Ashes that they must play Johnson. He was a changed bowler after his come back from injury. Link to comment

rkt.india
Ian Pont Here's why Johnson bowls GAS... level hip rotation, chest drive, stretch reflex (delayed arm) going into Tent Peg 3. Apart from the closed off feet (left armers disease) he is in a terrific position. Level hips are vital to avoid lateral flexion (lean away at the top) Link to comment
Lord
I bet Joe Dawes is clueless about such things Link to comment
G_B_
you can only do so much with what your given.... Lets not forget that Johnson was eratic before this year. He sorted out his personal life more than anything. thats not something a bowling coach can do.... Link to comment

alexander
Johnson has ruined our batting in this series. The entire show has been poor - batting has been a mess and bowling has been insipid. Sans swing, Anderson and co dont pose the same threat. None the less, here in the UK they will continue to perform. Link to comment

Although Johnson was the wrecker in chief, I'd still hope that people acknowledge the Rhino and Lyon, both of whom are very fine bowlers. Link to comment
